I've noticed that Vikki has increasingly been cribbing from the SJW lexicon in her tweets since FROG was dismissed from the PP case. No joke, she posted this exact thing three times in under 24 hours, and she's still trying to make hay over it as late as yesterday.

I think there's some unintentional projection going on here between your totally rational goal of 'building a viable youtube channel' vs the actual goal of all parties involved here, which is 'really piss off specific people I don't like', and by that metric Comic Book Hut was unreasonably successful despite his many, many limitations.




13/06/2022 - THINKING CRITICAL W/ WES - MY THOUGHTS ON THE DOUG ERNST, COMIC BOOK HUT THING - Keeping in spirit with 2022, described by Frog as "the Year of Forgiveness where everyone puts old grudges aside and comes together", it was not even two days since Frog's CG outreach effort on Wes's channel before Wes decided to give his own statement regarding Doug Ernst's years-long grooming of Comic Book Hut into some sort of attack tard. Wes, in the vein of many intellectuals in the comic book commentary scene like Perch Comics, Richard C Meyer and Comic Book Hut himself, define their shitflinging at other people and histrionics as "journalism", and any sort of criticisms or reaction to any of their statements as "drama", remedied with liberal application of the block button. He even has an acronym for it: "DFL" - Drama Free Life.

In this case, Doug Ernst is a close personal friend who has visited Wes (a resident of the Phillipines) "more often than his family" and has been a supporter of the channel since it was a few hundred subscribers. Received information that could jeopardize these social ties is "drama" and so the only way he can be true to his principles and values is to ignore the matter completely. He's prepared for the inevitable Frog efap of this stream but he's saying in advance he's not going to acknowledge it and ignore it going forward. And you the viewer might disagree with this, you might even want to unsubscribe from his channel if you want to - you're well within your right to Wes assures the viewer (thanks Wes for affirming we have the right to disagree with you). He respects your opinion, just as you should respect his. DFL baby. Doug Friends fo' Life.





Shortly after this, DA Talks' own, unrelated shitstorm in motion began to collide with the Comic Book Hut controversy, with his highly anticipated interview with famous X-Men cover artist Mark Brooks. A record 200+ Comicsgate live viewers gathered in @TheCosmicWarrior 's concurrent stream snipe of the interview to collectively oogabooga at the Marvel whisper network SJW, only for the three day buildup to end in anti-climax as Dean blueballed the hundreds of onlookers with a 15 minute discussion of Top Gun: Maverick. Faced with hundreds of gassed up Comicsgaters with no outlet for their oogabooga thanks to the whimsical jests of Dean (precedent shows this leads to nothing good), action was needed.

Thinking quickly, Jon dug up the Thinking Critical response video for all to watch and redirect their anger upon the Ernst matter going on, turning gayop lemons into gayop lemonade. There was also some moralfagging over IC's association with Thomas Roiloup, but that kind of falls flat when you're joining in with Vito Gesuldi joking about molesting kids as you do it. Emotions run high and people's critical faculties leave them when forgiveness reaches such a point. Frog, rootless populist and man of the people he be, in truth can be found following the currents and eddies of the mob surrounding him just as often as he directs them and this case can't help but get caught in the spirit of things. He promises to make time out of his day to personally demolish this faggot (Wes, not Dean) since he's gone ahead and put the idea out there. Wes' welcoming to Comicsgate proper is imminent.





15/06/2022 - COMICARTISTPRO SECRETS - RESPONSE TO THINKING CRITICAL'S DOUG ERNST VIDEO

True to his word, Frog began streaming at 2 AM his time to deliver his response to Wes' take to the Comicsgate masses. First is the obligatory grabbing of the subterranean-hanging fruit that is Wes actively rejecting received information he may find uncomfortable on the grounds of "i hate drama" is arguably the polar opposite of 'thinking critical', and that Wes seems to have actually confused terms like "ethical considerations" with "drama". Next he adds that in reality Wes' channel is literally a fucking drama channel where he's constantly involving himself on drama going in the comic book community with his commentary or picking one-sided fights with professional comic book creators who's stories or actions he doesn't like.

Finally, Frog also points repeatedly to the thank you tweet Wes received from Tim Lim after the video, inferring some sort of arrangement or coercion is going on, then closes by registering his deep discomfort with Wes' description of his relationship with the Iconic Comics team as "like his comic book family, but even deeper than that", commenting that that sounds like Doug Ernst is banging Wes' wife while Wes cups the balls, or maybe even the three of them have some kind of weird homersexual arrangement going on or something. Just throwing that out there.

There's also some words directed at Comic Book Hut (who's confession Frog archived and efapped alongside Wes'), departing from many opinions given here to instead argue that Comic Book Hut was well within his rights in feeling in entitled to compensation in the form of copromotion from Iconic Comics; the misery and defamation Frog felt from years of alogging at the stubby hands of Comic Book Hut definitely counted for something. Only for Hut to get tossed aside, public association with Hut about as appealing as with a used condom (perhaps the best metaphor for the Hut/IC relationship) and when it came to supporting Hut's project, they rejected streaming with him in favor of the apparently preferable optics of SWC. "Let that sink in Comic Book Hut." Frog addresses the camera "They see Thomas Roiloup as less toxic than you".

Tim Lim went on the record to tweet that Doug's actions reflect on no one but himself and that allegations otherwise constitute a public smear campaign, while Ernst went on the record to put out the barely polished version of "I regret nothing. Eat shit."

Frog... did not take this well, reaching new levels of forgiveness.

All this should be taken as a sign that God has shown renewed favor with Comicsgate, and He has delivered said sign in the form of sweet, pure uncut Liam kino. For context, this was in retaliation to a three hour efap by his former best pal Micah Curtis, his former colorist/wrangler Lydilol/Leedle (the Dutch creature who's gender @SaidNoOneEver and @The Coon were debating) and Micah's friend Graded Point Five... guy Chief Justice Optimus. Liam has harsh condemnations for all of them (except Optimus because who cares), useless retards the lot of them who did nothing but hold him back. Now Liam is unchained, unwrangled, unaccountable to anyone. Liam drops his own dirt on his former compatriots, accusing Micah of not having paid his artist Preston Acevedo,. The truth is that Liam pitied Micah, who accepted Liam's charity but still though he was the one who should be wrnagling Liam, along with accusing Micah of stiffing his artist Preston Asevedo. He then moves on to mocking Leedle's backroom complaints about being sexually molested by Yellowflash.




Frog starts stream sniping Liam somewhere around the second half the stream, the Caesar of Comicsgate so consumed by hatred of Doug Ernst that there's no room to hate Liam anymore (for now). "Liam can come back" Frog says sanguinely, "if he just smartens up and knocks off the flagging we'll tke him back. He needs help. He can come on and just fight Micah every day." Liam, eventually realizing he's being sniped, starts yelling into the mic for the thousand or so people listening to him to refund Micah's comic.

The claim of KA being a “fake manga” is really funny to me because as far as I can recall, Frog has his own fake manga in the works with Jose Garcia. Glass houses, stones, etc.

Just to add on this, didn't Meyer and Van Sciver in turn inspire Ernst when they came up with the concept of crowdfunding comicbooks? As I remember (and do correct me if I'm wrong on this) Ernst took like a year or so after YBZ's launched the first Jawbreakers campaign to launch his own Soulfinder.

I'm no comics expert (thank god) but I'm pretty sure I remember a whole lot of hype about Jae Lee's manga version of Cyberfrog at the time.
 
Doug tardwrangled the entitled tardbully and if it weren't for the fact that his efforts were aimed at the single greatest tard wrangler in comic book history, I might have felt something closer to anger. I'm disappointed but I'm also entertained. I'll admit to being a little biased!

Hutt's lack of intelligence doesn't affect his knowledge of right and wrong, it affects his attempts to cover up for his stupid mistakes. He was fully on board with Ernst until it was clear his campaign was doomed. Then he incorrectly thought that by turning against Ernst and running to Sciverfrog like a kid who just got his first bee sting, he was going to save his career. Sciverfrog and friends don't give a single frogshit about his life and they sure ain't going to rehab his situation. He just gave them another chance to throatpuff while being yet another day late.

Perhaps the gayest part of gayops is not admitting to it once caught. Doug should have learned this from Sciverfrog himself. Ethan still can't manage to acknowledge his own gayops past but since moving on to recruiting fellow former pro comic chuds, he can afford to sit on his hands for a year plus and treat his customers like third rate paypiggies and simps. Without them, the Culture War for Rino Conservatives who don't talk politics or religion or anything conservative monetize their SJW victimhood hashtags and the substance abuse of others, could hardly be lied about let alone diverted.

If Ernst is concerned about his storefront image, he needs to get ahead of this narrative. Threatening to sue is gay, Pressedin gay, though I am open to a Punished Hutt arc. Speaking of Preston, I could in theory forgive Ernst for all of this unless it's found out he's tried to team up with Preston behind the scenes. On the other hand, I dearly hope the newest frogwhispers of a Hutt-Peg alliance are true! With all that said, Doug (& Lim) are still leading the pack in terms of the quality and timeliness of the product and that's no small feat considering all the semi-retired pros they're competing against.

You could make that argument, but bear in mind that:

1. It's a variation of "two wrongs make a right." Or, in this case, "two gays make a hetro."
2. That's exactly the argument that Ernst is making right now, and it doesn't make him look any less guilty (or gay).

Besides, didn't Iconic already have their gay op against FROG when Tim did "the Glove" shit?

If we're gonna moralfag over this, I don't see how the ultimate conclusion we reach could be anything other than "gay ops are gay," and anybody that engages in them looks gay. And yes, that absolutely includes FROG and his shit with Warcampaign.

The less aggravating option is to just call Ernst a dumbass for using Hut, and laugh at the whole thing. He doesn't look any better than FROG did when he was passing info to WC. I'm glad I pumped the brakes on this. I thought maybe they'd discuss something substantive, and not cloaked in SJW rhetoric, so I wanted to wait. Unfortunately, the reality is the far lamer than anybody probably anticipated.

I'm sure Dean (after snorting up half of Columbia) thought this was a brilliant idea, but trolling CG with Mark Brooks still necessitates trolling with Mark fucking Brooks. I'm at a loss to understand how that's a good look. All it's gonna do is get people thinking "Well, what else are they talking about/planning?". It doesn't dispel the whisper network stuff. There's no equivalency between Doug's grooming and secretly using Comic Book Hut and others to wage a PR war against a competitor and my relationship with War Campaign. Although it was understood that they were supposed to push back against the countless efforts by SJWs to undermine CG so that I didn't have to, I didn't direct those retards on a daily basis to troll "my enemies", and never really knew what they were up to. On the couple of occasions when I tried to get them to do something, like dealing with Aaron Alverez and JDA, they refused.

I mostly talked some shit about whatever was going on in ComicsGate with them and laughed at their memes.

But to me, it was a matter of defense. Ernst was on offense.

It's circumstantial, ATM. Hut claims that Mark and Tim were involved. Plus, as @Miniluv pointed out several pages ago, it does look sus as all hell that Lim was Johnny on the spot with damage control as soon as this broke. Given how the IC die-hards are circling the wagons on this, I think it's okay to say "Team Iconic." If they don't like that, they should have distanced themselves from what Doug did. Instead they appear to be having a homosexual orgy over how Ernst is actually transgender Mother Teresa, or some shit.

While I think it is very likely that they are involved as well, I think it is plausible that the quick reaction was due to current crossover crowdfunding campaign.

Nah, I barely tried. It wasn't my thing and I was lame at it. Those guys were autonomous trolls who had their own agenda which was tolerated because their stated goal was protecting ComicsGate from gay ops. And they could be entertaining at times on their YT shows.

So by accepting this "Both you and Ernst" premise, it implies that both of us are equally involved in this bullshit and lets him off easy. Nope.

These days, there's really no need for "backroom shit." Until this happened, everyone was getting along, and the DM threads are mostly about business and socializing.
