Zoological Society of... Jersey and Long beach?
Zack Snyder Justice League. The abrupt collapse of a sister fandom movement within a week after the Rolling Stone expose and now Jim Lee stating on panels flat out
that there is no work planned for future Snyderverse material has been interesting. Frog
has been having a coffin dance over the demise of the fledgling movie director-centered cult of course, but let's take a look at some of the other reactions to this development.
MechaRandom has taken the opportunity to claim victory in her own classy way.
Meanwhile Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers has decided to acknowledge the controversy over the astroturfed movement he sold "muh brand" out for by saying absolutely nothing at all.
The most sparks by far were in the anti-anti-SJW scene, where hating Comicsgate and the Fandom Menace doesn't necessarily mean you're against #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, which is held up in comparison as a good guy movement that just wants to make grimdark spandex movies and doesn't do drama. Here the unlikely duo of Matt Jarbo and Forced Adversity (who has returned to hanging around Jarbo and yelling about Comicsgate after failing to make it in the much more competitive breadtuber scene) spent several hours teaming up against the still in denial Mad Max for hours, an anti-Fandom Menace gadfly in a Doctor Doom mask who still fervently believes the Snyderverse is going to happen.
But the most interesting reaction was from consoom-tuber and vocal anti-Snyder advocate Jody from Jody's Corner. Jody is mostly famous for calling out
@YoungRippa59 for allegedly serving as a racial shield for toxic right wing ideologies, to which Rippa rebutted primarily by pointing out Jody's obesity, his lower financial stratum in relation to YoungRippa, and alleging that he partakes in the use of crack cocaine.
Anyways, the reason why this video is of interest is that Jody relates an encounter back in 2018 where he, posing as a fellow Snyder-fanatic, gassed up Zack Snyder's cameraman and self-described best pal
Clay Enos into spilling his spaghetti in person about Snyder venting about how much he hates Geoff Johns, Jon Berg and Kevin Tsujihara. Now that the Rolling Stone article is out, he's going to burn his very close source by quoting him by name, verbatim.
