Behold a preview page of Dark Grift's Hunting Alice, the comic he's doing with Preston's ex.

*EDIT* Will Hunting Alice be worthy of rocking the CG name? I highlighted the bottom in yellow.

So it went from stopping Preston knights from destroying comicsgate movement, and brand, to now (I am the fucking king! anything Comicsgate must be approved by me Har Har Har) You are a pos ethan, and good job telling vic to fuck off using cg on his project. He isn't good enough for your Trademark.

Who else besides @FROG invested/risked time, money, effort and face to prevent Poulter from getting the trademark?

For more reference to my other post, here are screenshots of the first eleven pages of Hunting Alice. I guess Grift has released a teaser to stoke interests and let the people know their now over a year late book is in fact being produced and he doesn't plan to go full Cridious.

Possibly but if so he (or whoever was first first) gave up the rights to Frog if I remember correctly (I've forgotten so much lore). Either way that trademark was taken long before anyone gave a shit.

yeah he did give up the rights to Frog. That was the only thing blocking Preston from owning the Comicsgate trademark completely. Than he gave up the rights to Ethan, I suppose to get back in his good graces after he failed to fulfill his Detective Dead comic book.

That is god awful, the last 2 frames looks like the space wale from Comic Hut's Space abortion project.

no problem with that, the problem is he is a known Narcissistic stance flipping back stabber, and if you have a project aproved today, tomarrow he may be suing you because (muh trademark)

Could happen!

These are both privately commissioned pieces. They’re neither covers to existing books nor do they have “approved by comicsgate” on them. Apples and oranges.

I wonder whether he was looking at an apple or an orange? Or maybe a naked man.

Not sure how typical this victim is, but without assuming too much - if he was six different "backers", that cuts down the number of actual CG fellow travelers significantly and explains why MUH THOUSANDS of supporters always feels like 500 to 1000 absolute maximum.

Yes Cridious did. Then Preston challenged this because Cridious never actually used the trademark in commerce within a year of filing for it, which is an essential requirement to claiming ownership. Unbeknownst to everyone though, Cridious actually formally authorized the use of his trademark to DarkGift in the creation of "Dark of Midnight: The Art of Anthony Romano", an esoteric ashcan add-on to Mandy Summers' original Wart the Wizard. Now, Grift declined to actively go out of his way to tell Peggy this before he blew years of his life and tens of thousands of dollars on litigation, because fuck Preston, and that's how Grift rolls. But after both Frog's and Cridious' claims fell through, Dark of Midnight was actually what proved to be crucial in securing the trademark

An "immage" of the legally definitive Comicsgate comic book. Let's take a moment to let that sink in.

So to answer @9th legion centurion 002's question, as the creator of the definitive CG comic book DarkGift might actually possess the unique license to Comicsgate without Frog's permission. Not to say he ever would though.
