This is something that will keep happening for a while, but people will eventually get tired of it. Right now they are making much more money with "drama streams" than with the books (that they don't launch...), but it's just temporary.
Unfortunately, Ethan wants to become a full-time YouTuber very badly, but it's a mistake. He's an artist, he should draw books, and leave the streaming for a 2nd plan. The way he sided with those weirdos (dick, vito, etc.) was very stupid. Like a child jealous of the kid with the bigger toy.
Now there are 2 important facts that people should know:
1. We don't know how the OG CGs are in terms of health. Writers can write all their lives, but artists as they get older, they start to struggle a lot, especially with their vision. So that might explain mostly the lack of books and the lateness. Even Ethan should hire other artists to do interiors and he should stick with covers and main pages, maybe.
2. The young CG guys need to understand that in CG everyone makes fun of everyone, they get drunk and say anything they want. But of course, there are limits.
The most weird thing about CG is the relationship the old (married) guys have with females. It's super awkward the streams with Mandy and Dale. It's sad to see, that guy is like a legend, married, but he's all messed up. Shane is married but definitely has hardcore yellow fever, and he thought Irene belonged to him like every old foreigner in Thailand thinks. There was a clip going on showing drunk Shane talking to Renie in a completely messed up way, I don't know how can they be surprised that the girl wanted to distance herself from them. Jon is weird, and also shows a lot of sexual frustration toward women. We all remember that jack show where jon was all mad at witten because she was dressed sexy (lol wtf).
Anna's calendar is also something weird af. I still remember when I first started watching Anna's channel, she was funny and she always talked shit about hoes, even when the onlyfans thing started, she always talked shit about them hoes. Now she's a hoe, she's basically CG's hoe. Cecil has her nudes for sure and shares them with the other old dudes. We can see in their eyes when they talk about anna, there's something very strange going on between them and Anna is naive or pretends to be naive about it.
Conclusion:
If you are a comicbook fan like me, maybe you need to look at other indie creators from now on, because these CG OGs are starting to shift away from the comics business, they are making more money on youtube, they just don't know it's temporary (at any point, their channel can go bye-bye).
Hopefully, Ya boi Zack can collaborate with more people and start launching even more books.
