I think it's safe to assume that this is also why the "big 3" seem to have the most animus toward Eric July, out of the entire CG King's playpen (Coomalot included). Rippaverse products are leaping over their year long campaigns in a matter of hours. I can't wait until we find out that all three of them have been on weed edibles for the past 8 months and tell us they didn't realize what they were saying.

I hadn't seen this, poor Dojo. That said, while EVS's extreme vindictiveness is typical nowadays, I don't really know how he even effects the business of creators of that level anymore. There's zero cross-pollination between his audience and the small CGers' backers. Which one of EVS's paypigs would spend a dime on Projectile Reptile?

Sheila Aliens, who published them presumably scrubbing them for dox information, but because she's never read a comic in her life or even really understands what Comicsgate is about (past the gayop part) Sheila didn't consider the mainstream professionals that were in there like Nick Pitarra that are now exposed as a result. Oh well.

To be fair to Sheila, Pitarra has been considered "CG-adjacent" for a while. He said something nice about Ethan some time ago (which Ethan didn't like, because he thought it was gay, lmao) and he was doing streams with CG-related topics in 2023. I think he even did a stream about the fallout of the Pitt Omnibus cancellation ().

True, but a personal site could also serve that function. I think refunds play an important part (IGG refunds vs personal site refunds).

Juju the cow and Ethan really leaned into that narrative during the stream. It wasn't the comments driving it. The stream kind of had to change tone when Juju came on because Ethan can't do the pretend christian conservative war-on-satan stuff with him around.

What has happened is Eric July has no opinion, or takes about anything period. Every time he does a video, or shows up on a show like the flashcast he is replying to EVS with out using EVS's name and triple downs with muh business, muh success, muh writing team, muh future endeavors. He has no opinion on anything except muh business, and its unwatchable. I am happy for his 1 million dollars in 24 hours but he has to stop reacting to EVS or he is going to fail fast.
