EVS used to understand optics. He denounced Micah Curtis as a retard when Micah went after Razor for not using IGG for a book of his. Things have changed.
I'm sure someone has that Micah/EVS confrontation stream.

The fact that he is also only that - an artist - might help explain why he's so badly fucked up the logistics and fulfillment end of his campaigns. He's never had to deal with that shit before in his professional life, that was always taken care of by someone else.
The extra stuff was an incentive to get more people to back his campaigns and order comics, thus increase sales. So he had a kind of perverse incentive to focus more on the extra bullshit than the primary product.

Ah, I remember reading that Iron Liz had gotten the rights to Lightbringer and made it an actual comic. I'm still curious how much of that was them genuinely wanting to make a legit independent comic and how much of it was them just wanting to fuck with Linkara.
Now was Curtis involved with the Lightbringer comic, or did they have some other project? Or any project at all, for that matter?

Micah curtis to my knowledge had nothing to do with light bringer comics, I was only refrencing him as being apart of that guy with glasses disaster ...... I forgot about micah for 2 years hinestly, kind of wondering what he is up too ..... he was loyal to Liam grey longer than any one could have expected, but the minute he switched sides to join team @FROG, Frog fucked him over/off ..... thats why you never bend your will to EVS.

Unless I'm mistaken, you can get a brand new full length paper back novel for about $20 at any bookstore.
Forgive me, I don't really know all the ins and outs about independent publishing and IndieGoGo campaigns, but please clarify the following
1. Does IndieGoGo basically let you run a campaign in perpetuity?
2. If he really wants to get this story published, why not just sell it independently as an e-book? Or if not that, aren't there some other independent publishing houses that will print cheap pulp novels from indie authors for a decent price?

Micah was a real gem. EVS always had him on in the early days as the dummy everyone made fun of. "Shut up Micah" being a constant refrain. Dude always thought he was the smartest person in the room. Never wore a shirt with sleeves either. His feud with Liam is the stuff of legends. The two retards fighting stopped to laugh at that shit.

probably out of laziness. besides, he already knows how to use indigogo, he likely just figured why put in the effort to find a more appropriate venue when only a hand full of people are going to buy it anyway.

Oh hey. I came up in here again. Been a minute. I've lurked this thread for a while just to see what's going on.
I'll clarify a few things so Dongs doesn't have to go digging for stuff.
- Novella got put on Indiegogo basically as an experiment. Was curious to see how prose would do on a crowdfund, and the answer is obviously "not great." So at some point I'll put it on Amazon. I'm hoping to put other books I've already got finished out there for easy purchase as well, given how crowdfunding is getting the side eye from a lot of people. Can't really blame them for that either.
- Yes, I did quit RT around the time of the Ukraine thing kicking off. Moved on to an editing position at a sports website, but journalistic work pays shit so I'm just gonna do something normal and go back to doing writing/editing/YouTube stuff as my side hustle.
