Kind of a weird question. Never had a conversation like that with Ethan. Or anyone really. How long until you have to affirm your loyalty to Ethan now you mentioned arguments? Any idea why he is so opposed to delivering his comics?
Well, people here tried to ask him a week or so ago, but he was more interested in requesting a Kiwi personal army in his Jihad against a black man.Kind of a weird question. Never had a conversation like that with Ethan. Or anyone really.
Not to mention, didn't EVS publicly say he wasn't going to try and drag people into his issues with Eric? Both Eric and Ethan can figure out their issues on their own time.
As for comic delivery, how on earth would I know anything about someone else's business? It's not like EVS is hard to find. Ask him yourself.
Sorry, should have clarified, I specifically meant Fraga. And if this is really still only his first campaign that makes it at least a year or two late, which doesn't surprise me.Not sure which you're taking about. But TenApel put out a few before giving it up. Same with Nolan. He's on his fifth or sixth now. Also good with updates apparently.
No idea about the guy doing the Charlie one. And Fraga as far as I know has only done this one. He at least seems to be giving updates though. But unsure if it's health issues, bad work ethic, or something else keeping him from finishing it. I think I recall him updating saying it'll be this year. But we'll see.
Spoken like a man with Stockholm Syndrome, don't get me wrong perfect response to not offend either party, and (A L L O T) of CG creators are using that response almost word for word.didn't EVS publicly say he wasn't going to try and drag people into his issues with Eric? The crux of the issue is that Eric July doesn't understand how to use subtext so all the dialogue ends up being stilted and over-expository since he feels to the need to explain things that would be better left unsaid, and also that he doesn't give characters unique voices so everyone's either dry and expository or a generic tough guy. The art doesn't really help with informing the tone of the dialogue, the worst example I can think of is this panel of Goodying where the dialogue sounds like he's concerned but the art gives him a look of vacant smugness which doesn't fit what he's saying at all.Reading Isom I remember thinking the dialogue was Bizarre and just odd in general. That it was like that in Isom 2 makes me think there has to be a reason for that...
I still think that Superheroes are too interesting a concept to leave to comic books, but otherwise I think it's just a that the American comic industry developed in a way that encouraged better writers to go into other fields due to the ridiculous levels of censorship (give the 1954 Comics Code a read) they were under until the 90s and the big two's subsequent leap into edgy bullshit that killed the industry. They well and truly shot themselves in the foot with the CCA and they've been reaping the consequences for the last 30 years. The cynic in me thinks that anyone good enough to make good comics is too good to make comics.
In other news, Malincel is feeling optimistic:

Optimistic that he will ever have a CG campaign successful enough again for overseas backers to constitute a significant problem.
Just think, EVS hasn’t even got to the stage where he needs to consider such logistics for his 3 main outstanding campaigns (or maybe he has, and hence the perpetual procrastination)
in all fairness, creators can't control shipping pricesIn other news, Malincel is feeling optimistic:

But they can control when it gets shipped out, easier to know what costs will be in 3 months than in 1-4 years.in all fairness, creators can't control shipping prices
Which is why fulfillment in the shortest period of time benefits all parties.in all fairness, creators can't control shipping prices
If they have a product to sell, yes they do. If there is no product to sell, and your E-begging for money today to give a hamburger tomorrow, every one involved is a retard crowd funded project creator and backer, and all should be destitute.in all fairness, creators can't control shipping prices

You’re acting like respecting the customer was a mantra of comicsgate, oh… wait…Agreed, but they can control whether they are assholes about it towards their potential funders. What Malin learned first about working at Marvel was to regard readers like shit.
