A lot of comic artists today don't even trace so much as place 3d assets on the page for backgrounds and character poses. Everybody pretends that tracing is beyond the pale but that and worse are often standard practice.

First with Frog Tony, and now the "dog fucker" (allegedly).

Total fail. And deservedly so.
