Another day, another fire set by another YouTuber that I need to put out. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, the documentary filmmaker who is supposed to direct the vaporware REY movie, did not say that her goal was to make men in general uncomfortable or male STAR WARS fans uncomfortable. She said that quote 8 years ago in a completely different context. She was referring to men in Pakistan who commit honor killings and acid attacks against women. THAT'S who she wants to make uncomfortable. Stop spreading bum scoop just because depressed middle-aged men need a new thing to hate everyday.

This is a bizarre choice to direct a Star Wars movie if you want the movie to make money. If, on the other hand, you wanted to give a big payday to a Left wing activist you admire, this would be one way to do that.

Also, "Another day, another fire set by another YouTuber that I need to put out" seems like you don't need to do that Zack,. Another Disney shill scumbag, Paul Tassi, who has much more reach and influence than you is already doing that. You can just relax and say to yourself, "Oh, Paul has got this one, I can leave it alone."

He's also LATE to this one. People have already been debunking the timeline of this quote for months. It's why the BPC haven't been covering it lately - they got the content they needed out of it and moved on especially when they started self-correcting themselves. That article is dated Jan 2024. That's when this all went down.

Look, you don't understand. Multi-billion dollar corporations are at stake here. What hope do they have with only their billions of dollars and powerful connections to help them? They need a True Hero. They need Zackman.

Zack doesn't have time for his kids or to give his customers the things they paid for. He needs to put out the fires. He needs to save Disney's Lucasfilm from anybody with a critical opinion. It's a tough job that nobody asked him to do, but dammit, Zack is such a hero, he can't help himself.
 
Meyer really made a mistake early on by making all his initial ideas separate stories and not just sticking to one of them and building on it over time. It would be one thing if he was doing what the Rippaverse does with its separate stories -- everything is taking place in one universe with a shared continuity like DC or Marvel -- but he's not doing that. They're all stand-alone universes. Even that would be fine if they were actually stand-alone stories, but they aren't that either. Good chunk of this shit has sequels, and that's a big problem because that requires a greater degree of investment from backers than if everything was a continuous story, one shared continuity, or just stand-alone graphic novels. Why would I back Jawbreakers 2 or 3 if I didn't like 1? You killed the OG cast in Jawbreakers 1 too, so if I DID like Jawbreakers 1, why would I back the sequels when my favorite characters are gone? Also, if I only liked Jawbreakers, which is a standard GI Joe-esq superhero story, would I back Impossible Stars, Iron Sights, or their sequels when they're completely different genres of story I don't enjoy?

Also also, why would I go through the trouble at all when I have to either get these books from you directly or buy them off eBay because you're a fucking boomer who hates digital comics, and so no PDF version of any of your books exist? And this is all before we factor in that every one of these books will inevitably be late.
