You did it, Zack, somehow you managed to leapfrog every other retard in CG to become new Lord of the Cringe.

I keep thinking about how entertaining it would be to remake Apocalypse Now with Zack cast as the lunatic Colonel Kurtz with the rest of the CG crowd cast as the crazies you meet on the journey into the heart of darkness.

Zack joined CG, and after that his, uh, ideas... methods became... unsound. Unsound.

Now he's crossed over into YouTube with his YouTube channel army, who worship the man, like a god, and follow his every community post however ridiculous.

Well, you see, in this culture war, things get confused out there. Power, ideals, the old morality, and practical commentator necessity. Out there on social media with these Nu CG natives it must be a temptation to be God. Because there's a conflict in every human heart between the rational and the irrational, between good commentary and cringe. The good commentary does not always triumph. Sometimes the cringe overcomes what Lincoln called the better angels of our nature. Every man has a breaking point. You and I have. Ya Boi Zack has reached his. And very obviously, he has gone insane.

It's election season, (((Youtube)))'s mighty hostile to Right-of-Center creators on any regular day of the week let alone right now when the throne of Western power is being shook .

Boomers like Ethan forget to take the temperature of the space they're in. He's surrounded himself with people who aren't honor bound by any code of ethics. There's no red line they won't cross. Now he goes picking fights with them.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that Ethan's only who he is because he drew Green Lantern's flaccid cock for 30+ years or something. I guess this goes to show how powerful a name that gets a bunch of Google results is. If you look famous, people will fall in behind you. Even if you're only famous for drawing clenched men's ass cheeks.

I think he's realized that this is it, this is what he has accomplished and he has limited time to do anything else. He mentions it in some of his videos. He seems to be particularly bothered when men die at around middle age, and makes snarky comments about how "women basically live forever" (I wish someone had told my late wife that one). He's said, "I either have only a few years left or about 50 years left and I don't want my remaining years ...[something about birthday party clowns]." So, I think it's fair to say he is having a midlife crisis.

It is not his irrelevancy protecting him, not directly at least. It is him being broke as well as not being listened to by anyone with the exception of his ever dwindling fans and his detractors.

I don't think you'd have much of a case if you tried to sue (no provable damages). And I'd say that Zack making this dumb claim does more good for the BPCs than harm. It's such a ridiculous accusation that it makes Zack look like a complete nutcase (that he is).

If Zack had any intelligent, insightful criticisms to counter the BPCs and their commentary, that might hurt them. But him flailing around wildly like a schizo tard only hurts Zack.

I made this while I watching Beardo and Epic Mike stumble through hosting Geeks and Gamers daily while Jeremy efapped a Trump interview.
The culture within the Geeks and Gamers community very much reflects the atmosphere that Ethan wishes he could cultivate.
Jeremy and his crew manage to introduce themselves, and maintain an identity of just being dudes. They're not authorities, they're just fellow fans that so happen to have enough time to build a youtube channel.

The framing of CG has been wrong for a long time, and even Meyer has his angle wrong.
Observe the Fellowship. Piers Morgan has had Gary, Drinker, and now Jeremy Griggs finds himself on the show.

To be fair, I don't think it's an act. The G+G/FNT crews are actually working class, blue collar, regular dudes for the most part.

EVS putting on a MAGA hat and pretending to be a populist conservative to capitalize on the Trump Train was always a cynical performance. Guys like EVS and Zack think of themselves as special artistes. They can't create a welcoming fan environment where normal fans are all part of the group, because they think of themselves above the common man. They can't connect with the common man.

The times, they are a-changin'.

Believe it or not, when TIME magazine debuted in the 1920's, it was as a plucky, irreverent, upstart publication. Oprah started as a trashy talk show host before she became the unquestionable guru and moral authority for white women. Sonny Bono, Ronald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jesse (The Body/Mind) Ventura went from entertainers to elected governement officials. It blew my mind when they gave Ozzy Osbourne a mainstream TV show. Still seems odd to me that Ice Cube and Ice-T are featured as mainstream figures these days.

Piers is smart enough to understand which way the winds are blowing. Establishment media no longer cultivates talent from the bottom up. It's become a closed club where elites only promote their own from within based on personal connections and party affiliation. The aristocracies of the past had to find ways to allow their houses to accept members of the up-and-coming non-aristocrats into their circles in order for them to survive. If mainstream media want any hope for ratings and relevancy, they're going to have to allow the dirty YouTubers onto their establishment airwaves.

My take on why FNT/G&G grows and Comicsgate fails.

G&G/FNT got rid of the troublemaker spergs like Ethan Van Sciver, Jessie Milestone and Mecha Random then ended the whole anyone who is fed up with Star Wars can join aka The Fandom Menace branding. Fandom Menace was the same as Comicsgate but for Star Wars, an organized-but-not nebulous cartel. Comicsgate kept doing this, anyone can be a member but we'll backstab you next week then make live streams about you for years. @FROG especially and now YBZ drive away people then have to either replace them or cope with smaller returns. G&G FNT just kept doing what they do with a very slight bit more professionalism than Scivergate, where they are able to organize more meetups etc because less of them want to kill each other. Gatekeeping their own company and not focusing solely on conflicts.

Channel here. I made a post a while back here about it, he became a Catholic this year and every livestream he does is now reading the Bible or praying. Haven't really watched any of it, I think he did the Bible streams while in RCIA as a way to force himself to read the whole Bible. It seemed like he hadn't ever read the whole thing before.
