The reality is that Richard is just further to the Left than most of the people who watched or used to watch his channel. He votes Republican (he claims) purely out of financial self-interest but hates the Right on social issues.

He considers them to be "fake geek guys" who don't really like comic books. They just pretend to because it is easier to fake liking comics than it is to fake liking sports. (This is a weird non-sequitur since most of the people he goes after are not primarily comic book channels but general pop culture channels).

This is why his main mode of attack on these guys is, "You don't really watch the movies and shows that you hate." He's accusing them of being "fake geek guys." A stupid belief (or tactic) on Richard's part, because people actually watch those channels and know that they do indeed watch a lot of this terrible stuff.

Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark, Oliver Queen, Ted Cord, Reed Richards these men were heads of industry, none of them possessed the ability as private citizens to legally answer the cries of the innocent. Val Zod, President of the USA was the dumbest idea. President Superman, well what the fuck? Why are there superheroes at all? That's stupid.

This was the biggest issue with Superman being the USA's spearhead against Soviet propaganda. Superman possessed the strength to overwhelm and destroy any force on Earth, foreign or domestic. Thanksfully whoever was in charge of the Superman propaganda gave him the "I refuse to decide the fate of mankind just because I possess the power do to so." attitude that was supposed to be the USA's stance against the Soviets.

But Meyer misses all of that because he wants to punish the people in his comments section that doubt his galaxy brain takes.

going into this weekend. I'll agree I should have been more clear I mean a worldwide under performance, than domestic, in which case, Wicked dominated Gladiator, which in turn dominated Wicked internationally.

Gladiator II was release worldwide one week (15 Nov) before Wicked (22 Nov).

Makes sense for it to be slightly ahead boxoffice wise.

What we need to see is the legs. If Wicked manage to not drop hard this weekend then Gladiator doesn't stand much of a chance.
