It's based on his series of Levon Cade novels, so this is more like Jack Reacher, Repairman Jack, or Hap and Leonard: straight up modern Pulp shit. I'm super happy for him that this movie is coming out and looks like it actually might be good, although I know he is miffed at the title change. As an added bonus Reethan's head is going to EXPLODE. I hope the advertising campaign for this one is so big that Fat Frogget can't help but obsess about it, driving him to take solace in ever increasing amounts of pies and other fattening pastries and deserts until he splits at the seams.
 
EVS and Meyer have always been the heart and soul of ComicsGate (CG has no brain), so it makes sense that, as the community continually declines each year, so does both of their mental health.

I doubt that there is going to be much of an advertising budget to speak of, although apparently it is going to get a theatrical release. Its going to be out for a few weeks and then go straight to Amazon Prime.

But anyway this is the exact plot of Taken. Girl gets kidnapped and a retired badass has to go looking for her and digs up a sex trafficking ring that is run by rich and powerful men. They couldn't make her the daughter because it would be to obvious then.

It follows a pattern of Chuck Dixon being too derivative for the past four decades or so at least (most of CG has the same problem).

Anyway good for him for getting his book made into a theatrical movie and maybe it will even be enjoyable.

At some point EVS is going to license Cyberfrog to the cheesiest B-movie outfit in existence and we'll be blessed with some dude running around in a rubber frog suit like 1949 Godzilla. That'll show us.

The Scary fact about Yaboizack is that Ralph is more of an active father to Xander than Zack is to his 2 of the children we know about. And ralph has outstanding warrants & lives in Mexico yet he finds time to visit Xander on supervised visits.
 
Adding a wholesome bit of power-leveling to this thread by announcing that at least Zack's spergery inspired me to buy a little Transformers of my own. Look at how charming this little guy is! Classic Optimus Prime

Zack has been getting talked about on the Mauler subreddit, so his plan of getting attention by attacking Drinker seems to be working, but his porno is also getting brought up in the comments and everyone thinks he's an idiot, so I"m not sure what his endgame is here. Did he hit his head and go narcissistic and attention is all he craves now? No wonder Frog hasn't disowned him.
