I have a theory. My theory is that Richard is one of these people who figures out what the most obnoxious thing he can say for a particular group is and then he says that. So, when he decided that himself not being hired by Marvel comics was a high crime, he started going after them on "diversity." When that worked well for him he kept it up. Now he's probably angry that the Critical Drinker and his friends who are fellow Youtubers are more successful than him, so he's trying to find the best provocation against them. He's trying everything from they are phonies, they are ugly, they are racist, they are fags etc. Once something lands, he'll harp on that basically forever as his way of going after other Youtubers.

He has no core beliefs, he's just an empty narcissist. He's just trying to get them to bite. His channel seems schizophrenic because he never really had a problem with slop pop culture, he was mad that he wasn't involved in creating it.

Maybe Zack tries to get Tatiana's attention and she always goes for Drinker instead at the club, that's my headcanon from now on :3

Zach's gone crazy, driven mad by jealousy, or his ongoing hate campaign against Critical Drinker and Friends is a carefully calculated attempt to create controversy, generate buzz--or (most likely) a happy lunatic blend of both.

Something to keep in mind here: Our Boy Zach isn't very talented. And yes, I know it seems cowardly to snipe at the guy from behind an anonymous account but even the most cursory, objective assessment of his work by any randomly picked comics fan would prove my assertion true. The basis of his popularity isn't because he's a comics genius but because of the favorable reputation he garnered at the height of Comicsgate. Since Zach isn't a stupid man, I can practically guarantee he's well aware of his own creative limitations. I don't have access to his sales figures but would bet the farm those numbers are going inexorably down with every successive project. They're not coming back up. That's a scary prospect for a man with what? Five kids? College is fucking expensive.

I think Zach's inflammatory attack videos are a commercially strategic move. The attacks themselves--especially those aimed at Critical Drinker--border on the logically and factually nonsensical. Zach claims the Drinker and other supposedly right-leaning cultural and media critics are cynically exploiting right-of-center audiences. Maybe he's right, but here's the thing: Critical Drinker's videos are generally funny and watchable; the same goes for Nerdrotic. They are successful entertainers. He is not. Right now, he's just a noisy little bitch with an axe to grind.

Culling only works if you are able to replace and grow out of your original audience. The shit Zack is doing is going to look really fucking stupid when he can't fund his comics. He barely funded his doa ip theft book. I doubt people want to read a book that is so reliant on ai they could make the book itself using said ai.
