It is more of an envy thing in that case, imo. They are doing what he does only with better results, so they must be cheating. They must want to bring everything down in order to grift. Their fans love them, so they must have brainwashed them.

Zack cannot be asked to stick to a good thing. He left the marines, even though it was the only place his brand of weird fit. He left his computer job, even when they started becoming lucrative. He stopped live streaming, even though it was steady money. He leaves all his families and now he has to be homeless. He tried to go back to NY, even though he was at a better place than the sad apartment he would be able to rent. He stopped making comics, even though that was the thing he fought the hardest for. He gets bored easily and he has to make things harder for himself. The military was his best chance, imo.

The sad thing is that he kiiiind of has a point about Gary et al. rushing to naysay on future Bond films before they even start producing them. Wilson & Broccoli did make a lot of crap with the Bond franchise after all and instead of a movie every 3-4 years they have only released one in the past 9.

But fuck Meyer's obnoxious attitude. This one above's possibly the worst ever of his YT postings. He could've nuked his channel for more than a year now but he hangs on since it's the only thing keeping him from staring at the wall or having to look for a 9-5 job where he's gonna have to STFU and take it from his boss.
Really now, is he getting that much fan mail condemning the Amazon takeover? Could anyone here say what's the like/disllike ration on postings like that?

Yes, it is possible Amazon will do a better job. I'm pretty sure Amazon just put stacks of 100 dollar bills on a table in front of Wilson & Broccoli until they decided to step away. However, I understand pessimism about it too. Hopefully Amazon handles it the way they did Reacher or Jack Ryan and not Rings of Power.

Yeah, he is. As well as FNT and Az having plushies as well. The thing is, most of them are gimmicked - so Gary had a wizard, Az had a hot dog for his Hot Toys show, etc. Drinker usually just has him and his dog since his fans enjoy the dog. Is it childish? Sure. I wouldn't buy a plush of a youtuber, but if they want to make products representing their brand as a boost of sales to keep their lives not huddled in the cold on a couch, then who fucking cares? Again, Richard sells comic books... Which are still childish to many normal adults, doesn't matter how mature they are. Comic movies are main stream, not comics. So the fact he's trashing it is just more sour grapes, stewing over his misery - ironic...

also about Bond, the last few films were bad, Amazon might have a better chance, but they also put out some shit too, so it's fine to be a little cautious about the next projects.

Scepticism on Amazon and its handling of big IP is warranted after blundering big names such as Warhammer 40K and Rings of Power. Saying they have not fucked it up yet means nothing.

He could have talked to his friends before that. I presume he spent money he barely had to pay for the move and he listened too late when his friends told him he should stay where he is. I presume seeing the hellhole that NY had become made him have a wake-up call too. He probably thought that "right wing" channels were exaggerating the state of places like NY and Chicago only to actually go there and be shocked.

Quite a few of them admit they do it because they enjoy it. They even try to shield any criticism about all the very disgusting content they make about him, by calling them jokes. I guess jokes is the new Bigot to them. Well it's not going to help them forever, it didn't before, it won't now. If I'm able to see through that whole "humor" shield, I know for a fact I'm not the only one. These people are a bunch of cowards, and they know it too. Hell they're even trying to say he called the police over cyberbullying. Does anyone even really believe that at this point? Richard seeks out negative content. It might surprise you, but I don't watch most of the people Zack hates that much. Once in a while, sure, but I've kind of gotten bored by them over time. I don't hate them, and they don't always give negative reviews to everything. Besides, it's easy to find positive people on Youtube. The only problem is that they are probably talking about stuff that has been out for a while, not the latest thing to come out. To go back to his previous complaints about a theoretical new James Bond movie that hasn't been cast or written yet and people having dread over it. Guess what? If it comes out and it is actually great it will wash all that away. The problem is, Richard likes bad movies and bad TV shows, so if Amazon James Bond comes out and it is terrible, well, he'll probably like it and be mad that people complain about it.
