So it needs to make 100$ mil and he is good, huh? Still, the fact that you can lead the box office with a 15$ mil opening weekend is not great for Hollywood.

the first concept makes more sense than the second but if either of them is what he wants to do then he's more retarded than i thought because he's still harping Joe Glass and Co' and still calling Mags a man and whatnot. hes ngmi doing that.

Another explanation could be that Zack has already settled to the idea that no matter how much he tries he'll never be able to fulfill everal or all of his still undelivered titles and he's either bitter about it and/or already realized that he's gonna slowly fade away in ignominy so at least he could go down saying whatever he likes disregarding any self-edit filter whatsoever

Or, and hear me out on this, he could have asked Eric for some help with his comics. Of course, that bridge has burned like a witch made of straw and gasoline but before he started calling Eric out, he could have worked out a deal with him handling the delivery of the finished comics. What I am saying is that he had better options than going down with the ship while giving everyone the middle finger. All he had to do is not be an idiot.

15 million on the weekend, so it looks like a modest hit. Doesn't seem like audiences loved it, it got a B Cinemascore. You might think that's pretty good but it's actually bad, anything under an A is typically means the audience thought it was mediocre at best.

But still it's a nice success for Chuck and he's earned it for plugging away in the trenches for so long. Zach might actually have had a pipeline to Hollywood, at least as a ghost writer, if he hadn't decided to burn all his bridges and act like a tard.

Chuck is currently gloating about the success of his movie, celebrating the fact that it displaced Snow White at the top of the box office.

This juvenile display over "a movie made for little girls" clearly places Chuck Dixon in the realm of homosexual Birthday Party Clowns.
I am certain Zack's sense of fair play as the most honest critic on the internet means we will see a Chuck Dixon callout video real soon. Can't wait.

Yes. And this movie is on track to do around $150M global. gotta remember Amazon also wants these from prime streaming, which is a separate revenue stream, so at that level, these are absurdly profitable.

I think it's likely we'll get a sequel, which is great for Chuck. It's odd YBZ is virtue signaling against people covering it positively. I guess he should go watch Furiosa again.
 
and the funniest part is there's really nothing in the pipeline.

star wars and Lucasfilm is dead, Pixar is irrelevant, marvel is a shell of it's former self and will probably die completely with the release of doomsday next year, their newer princess/standalone movies are hit or miss and even when they're good they don't do great at the box office and are regulated to "hits on Disney+" which is a failure of a streaming service in it's own right. it's a disaster on every level.
 
I think that Chuck has every right to gloat over a victory like this. Winning against a Disney Princess movie is a big deal.

It absolutely is! But, in Zackworld, a grown man taking any kind of shots at a Disney Princess movie is a sure sign that he is a talentless homosexual one step away from working a drive-thru. I'm just waiting for Zack to tell Chuck to put the fries in the bag.

They still have some kids movie stuff that can sell - I think the Lilo and Stitch live action movie will be their only hit this year.

I think the gaslight of the day is that he wants us to forget that everyone has Disney DVDs and BlueRays at home. Even grown ass adults (not Disney adults) know and have seen the Disney movies including the Princess Movies. Disney was an institution. Zack is going to pretend that no one apart from little girls cared for the movies.

What crowdfund is Drinker even doing?

At this point, all he needs to do is have more customers and put out a product and he's got Richard beat anyway. As for Snow White, I admit I was going to give the movie too much credit: No competition (now a laugh) and a family movie would surely bring countless wallets to the theater, but I guess even parents are thinking this one is skippable. Lilo and Stitch might be another story, even though it looks just as soul less and shitty

Needed to look up what this was even referring to.

CD posted a new kickstarter for a new film project 5 hours ago and it's just under 1/2 it's $260k funding goal with 30 days left to go. That seems pretty decent? Especially since it will be shilled pretty hard on that grifter network over that time span.

It's funny Zack licks corpo boot while mocking this since it's a kickstarter adapting Drinkers novel series that was published by REAL MAJOR PUBLISHER PENGUIN BOOKS. By Zack's own logic that make CD the more legitimate artist of the two since he has actually released non-indie, corporate published products. Not only does CD FINISH and RELEASE books, he doesn't need to crowdfund to do it, he's an actual established author.

The real potential hilarity of all this is that Mauler is writing a script for one of the mini-episodes. If that episode is particularly bad it will be fucking hilarious and the fallout would be incredible.
