I'm just glad it helped me find my favorite video from old CG. i still don't know why moore thought it'd be a good idea to track down a critic in the street he owes money to, much less a crazy person like cummings was. lol
Moore tracked Cummings down? I thought it was the other way around. What was the plan? High-road a guy you owe money too while dancing around just giving the guy his money back? Just give him the 40 bucks. Also the fact that that comic is going on it's 10th Anniversary of being unfulfilled is actually criminal. I know crowdfunding rules state you are taking a risk with these things, but there really needs to be some sort of penalty for being this delinquent with a campaign.

In other news, Meyer is upset that Nerdrotic isn't crazy about the latest Spider-Man movie making reference to the one of the worst received Spider-Man storylines to date. A story so terrible, that scores of fans swore off Spider-Man comics after reading it. If you want people to be excited about your story, you probably shouldn't pick a title that reminds them of a worse story.

Motherfucker was complaining about OMD way back when. Everyone hated that. The fact that the people behind it became the bosses of Marvel was a sticking point. There is nothing better to complain about than this!

The sequel to the story where Spidey sold his marriage to the fucking devil, and at the same time fucking unintentionally magically aborted his future child, Mayday Parker, because now she wouldn't be born because her dad just made a deal with Mephisto?

Can't imagine why a comic book fan might think this is a terrible idea.

Englentine was looking over the Alazmutt thing.

I gotta say duck guy @Alazmat it was certainly a choice to put your own experience being on a CG youtube show right before exposing the pdf files like slick jimmy, but that may highlight the true horror of comicsgate. It's who you signed on to be grouped in with just to like comics that aren't gay or whatever. Degen fat urinal lickers.

yeah it's comprehensive if a bit autistic in autobiographical parts (gives an autist on the sidelines feel) but this and @MikeyNohMore video could be linked there
I'm glad he included his own story because it highlights exactly how low the standards were in order to be in the outer orbit of CG back then. His buildings looked like crossword puzzles and his duck looked like a fourth grader's art therapy. He will never be able to make it more than a hobby. It has no place in a supposedly professional environment.

With this duck doc though, he nearly managed to encapsulate the entire movement. It's way more impressive to me than what I've seen of his uh... "comic book." Give us more of this. One dream must die before the other one can live. Solid narration and great editing! It's nice to remember all the little reasons why I despise these people so much.

FWIW, Dark Wing Drake was a better concept than space whales.

Missed opportunity to say the next movie was literally "One More Day" for april fools. Shame on everyone involved.
Damn, keep forgetting it's April Fools. Well, they got my dumbass.
To be fair, this IS something modern Marvel would do. Between defending OMD and keeping Peter and MJ separate, I think that we are well within our rights to not see the humor in such a thing.

Based on Ya Boi Zack's recent posts about Christians, I think this is a place where he and Heather could find common ground. What a shame, they could have been obnoxious fedora tipping atheists together in another timeline.

This illustrates what makes CG so horrible: as soon as you get involved, someone might think you're on the side of Zack or Nerdrotic. Just the thought of that is repulsive.
I mean, the two figureheads are EVS, a homosexual bimbo who doesn’t make comics, and July, a midwit token Black guy trying to create a bargain-bin Marvelverse ripoff.

The majority of people involved are so despicable that it makes me feel dirty just reading the thread.

Even when having fun enjoying new comics and feeling positive about the industry he feels the need to go back to complain about the BPCs and Erick July as well as saying that he's better than those bumbs for being able to enjoy "art"

It’s almost like he’s trying to convince himself that he’s above all the drama, while still being completely stuck in it. The fact that he has to keep bringing up the BPCs and Eric July, even in videos that should just be about comics he likes, really shows how much they live rent free in his head. He’s moved the goalposts from “these guys are ruining comics” to “these guys can’t appreciate comics the way I do”

Zack's entire identity used to be built around being the underdog fighting against the big two, but now that he's alienated most of his own audience and peers, he's trying to pivot back to being a "serious" comic critic. The problem is, he burned too many bridges to ever be welcomed into the mainstream, and he’s too bitter to fully let go of his old grudges.

So now he's stuck in this weird limbo where he can't openly shill for Marvel and DC without looking like a hypocrite, but he also can't fully commit to indie comics because he resents the people making them. Instead, he’s trying to present himself as the authority on what makes a real comic book good, as if he’s above both sides.

He ended the video by struggling to right click on a pirate site

He was also too dumb to realise he had to open the battlepacks in BF

Zack clearly has no idea what Eric or any other creators are making. He's just taking arguments from shitlibs to attack people.
"I don't care there on time because they're lame"
Zack your 50, you don't understand what's cool.
