It sure seems like he has amnesia and forget that comic book industry has always been built on getting people to buy variants.

That's the problem with him. Whatever he may be in the past, he's now just making shit up just to go after his targets. My favorite is him decrying July as a failing businessman when his own "comic book artist career" is completely in the gutter. Whether or not July is really failing, Zack is the last person to make such pronouncements without coming off as a retard with zero self-awareness.

They all have been saying July is failing since day one, and he continues to not only do more which financial wise is a sign of growth but grow in fan base as well. If Zack and his army of industrial illiterates want to continue to pretend they see failure because the sales are stabilizing at this point, let them. It's not like people at this point even care what he has to say about that now anyway. Hell at this point it's way too easy to look up the information to prove him wrong on this now. Hell I was able to look it up on GOOGLE of all things, but I already know that psychopath won't do that. He would rather cry about someone that made no negative impact on his life at all, and clearly not affecting July's life either. Like it or hate it, the Rippaverse is not going broke or losing support anytime soon. And here's the important part....You can't make people dislike something when they already like something, nor can you keep people from finding it interesting when they already do.... I remember watching a Zack video once and it was like 5 minutes of him talking about mowing his lawn, 5 minutes of talking about the comic, and 10 minutes of him shilling his comic campaigns. I feel like this perfectly shows why people stopped watching these clowns. Even if you agree with someone's politics most people want some actual meat on the bone for the content they watch. Zack and Ethan's stuff is just the most low effort grifting slop imaginable.

Compare their stuff to Thinking Critical who on paper makes the exact same style videos, but there's maybe one small sponsored segment and the rest of the video is him actually talking about comics and making points points on why its good or bad besides just "iTz WoKe".

The tldr of the situation is that it's a "one-two punch" problem:
-the most recent Japanese generations aren't interested in the Yakuza life/tradition. So next-to-no new blood.

I am saying that people are different from one another. One might be very left on most issues but right on others. Of interest in this video, I go over the incident involving that comic shop in Edmonton owned by some danger-haired chick who was beefing with Zack for not stocking up copies of Jawbreakers in her shop. Then her shop got robbed. She claimed it was CG but the court wouldn't substantiate it. This was the incident Wikipedia claims as proof of CG threatening violence.

I mean, there are probably some more solid examples in the recent years (Shane Davis threatening to fight a post-heart surgery PTP comes to mind) but that would have required the Wikis to do actual research outside of their left wing bias.

And their assertion that CG is alt-right is beyond laughable, but it was interesting going back into early CG for some gold.

Even if July wants to sell, who will buy RippaVerse anyway? It's still a niche IP with limited mainstream awareness compared to some other things out there.

Whoever buys RippaVerse will have their work cut out trying to build the brand up from the ground to be more mainstream. That means investing more money on top of the price they paid for the IP.

It is possible that someone wants to buy RippaVerse to suppress the company from being a competition to the buyer, but RippaVerse isn't at that level yet to be on the radar of the big boys like Disney and WB.

Yeah that's true. Although I will admit for the brand it is, it definitely is doing better compared to other Indie comic company's for the small amount of time it's been out, at least enough to get the attention of people like Mark Millar, Dean Cain and Todd McFarlane. Regardless I don't think he's going to sell it..... I don't think he trusts the mainstream enough to have any say over it and honestly, I don't blame him.
