The worst part is how schizo their beliefs are. “Batman is a mega cop-state fascist who beats up poor and mentally ill people!!!” becomes “Batman was always leftist chud! He takes down fascists everyday, and hates all cops!” in a millisecond.

It’s just dizzying levels of stupid. They don’t believe anything except what will get them more power at the moment. Superhero comics shouldn’t be written by people whose minds work like the villain’s.

A post on r/comicbooks titled "Absolute Batman Annual #1 - Batman shows us how to deal with the far right" got 3,000 upvotes earlier today. The OP deleted his account 3 hours after posting lmao.

I think the artist got inspiration from The Maxx Comics. The artwork is very reminiscent of Sam Kieth’s work only it lacks charm.

Zack's opinion of Rippaverse books have gone from "They're pretty good" to "They're awful pieces of shit" over the last couple of years. It wasn't too long ago that Zack actually felt Eric July's business was something to aspire to, as seen in this response to a backer who said he'd received two Rippaverse books before a Zack book that was supposed to have been finished by then:

Instead of attempting to meet the high bar Eric July set, he's decided to crawl under the already very low bar he's set for himself by trying to convince himself that Eric July's books are bad, which is the only possible reason he can get them out on time. If they were good books like Zack's, they'd take several years to fulfill.

Zack isn't the only one that gave Rippaverse books a good review in the beginning. But yeah, he's one of the few people that did apart from EVS who decided to give it a bad review out of the blue. Well at this point there are more people that enjoy Rippaverse then don't, and WAY too many people have gotten into it for them to believe the quality is terrible now... regardless I'm surprised they're still going. Do they NOT know people have gotten smart to it by now? Even Dick Masterson has given up on it now I believe.

When I read the first time that Absolute Batman was going to fight the KKK I though It was something a redditor made up but after seen this... Is incredible just how much can these fags fumble things. I liked absolute Batman, it wasn't incredible but I found it entertaining at least. But this is top goyslop nazi bad me kill nazi = Good writing . In fact nearly every fucking story that comes up these days and has the nazis or white supremacists as villains is a giant red flag and a clear sign of lazy writing only made for redditors to fucking soy at It.
