I dunno. I was just making a throwaway shitpost there. I know the dumptruck isn't really Batman's father. I presume that end panel is him at some construction site, thinking about what his father told him in the past.

From what I have seen of Absolute Batman, I am not picking up what Zack is putting down in terms of comics being any better written these days. Maybe it's not the worst thing ever, but I think Zack is trying way too hard to convince people that mainstream comics are good again.
