Nigger and typos, collected edition is still better than comicsgate, because it actually exists. CG will never defeat that point even if they rushed all their shit out tomorrow which from the looks of it they won't.
Yeah, typos are a very common thing found in books including comics. Also considering they made a collector's edition to this, there is a good chance they fixed all the typos that were in there so..... yeah. I do agree however, books that exist are better than no books at all. You don't have to like him, but don't act like Comics everywhere else are flawless.
Well it's literally every single book that was made from the first all the way to the current one at the time that book was made. There are a lot of improvements in it too I heard.

No-nose Hulk from 30 years ago is really odd. It looks cool enough for like a poster or whatever they have but imagine sitting there reading page after page of Hulk ripoffs, issue after issue. And if it was brought out at random by nine different small publishers how would all of it be collected? Is it actually creator owned? Just seems like a pointless mess. But then none of the comicsgate stuff is real or real as described so whatever.

For all we know, that book might be a catalog of what CG did and why a good businessman shouldn't do it. In all seriousness, him releasing such a book because he wants to tell people what he wished he knew when he started his business makes sense. Considering the fact that he became this successful after such a small amount of time, he might have something worth hearing. He knows a lot about networking, that is for sure.
Considering he had a huge unexpected influx and managed to pull it off on time it would be interesting to hear how he managed it all considering most kick starters that get way more than they expect have huge delays even outside the comic space.
I would guess that his advice is to plan ahead by asking how much every service (manufacturing, printing, delivering etc) will cost and how much it will take to be fulfilled as well as tell the others to prepare until the money comes. You know, have an estimate and not be caught with your pants down. Honestly, between Zack's OCD and EVS' procrastination, they seem to have made the job of self-publishing look far more difficult than it might be. Honestly, Eric's most impressive skill seems to be his networking. Getting big names to publish through him is not the easiest thing. Everything else looks far more doable when not being done by an idiot.
The big problem is you usually need to book printing facilities and such in advance and I'm guessing most put in for some buffer, but when you sell double, triple, or more than you expected it's a massive pain to get any kind of additional production done. Lots of established companies have struggled with that.
