One of the things that I wish EVS and YBZ would elaborate on a bit more is why they're so obsessed with hating Eric July. Even if you are of the opinion that his books are unremarkable or even kind of bad, do you know how many comics that are coming out all the time that are just like that or worse? From the indies and major publishers alike. From Comicsgate people.

But they're preoccupied with Eric July for some reason. The reason is he got a lot of attention that they imagine he doesn't deserve (and should probably go to them!). There are plenty of mid or low quality books out there. Why make so many videos about Eric July? He's not some giant representative symbol of everything wrong with the comic book industry. It is entirely because he is successful in the indie space and a perfect reminder of their failures. They could have put together something like that but with their procrastination combined with a lack of focus and drive, they just couldn't make it happen.

If they could just make Eric July fail, then it will validate their own failures and it won't be as if they did anything wrong and were right all along.

Well considering Rippaverse is still around, the audience continues to grow and the company continues to make money and product as well as sell books, if their goal is to make him fail they are definitely failing at that. Even calling it bad quality isn't working like it once did, especially when people read something from their and find out for themselves. I'm not saying it's for everybody, but the bad quality narrative is definitely not as widespread in belief as some people like to believe it is..... And all it takes is 10 seconds of research to figure that out.
 
Wow..... well now it looks like YBZ finally not only admitted but "ACCEPTED" the truth.....as for not talking about Rippaverse ever again.... Yeah we'll see....if YBZ can finally tell the truth "even if he does do it in a coping way, and still refuses to accept comic readers DO enjoy Rippaverse" perhaps Faggot Frog will tell it sooner or later too? Sorry for the double post but I just found this out too...... There's going to be a lot of haters that are going to be upset because they can't pocket watch him anymore. But than again it was never a crowdfund in the first place, so there was no reason to show how much money and how many books were sold anyway. All they have now is conspiracy theories, and those can be debunked at this point now..... ESPECIALLY when it involves the industry itself.

I still can't get over the fact that he's insisting on doing the "hurr durr church" cringe, still it is funny that he's willing to admit that Eric is winning FINALLY.
 
His argument was actually EJ didn't win fairly, he was the L Ron Hubbard of comics that woo-woo'ed his followers into buying his comics just to stay in the church.

Ironically, this is what early CG was in a way, as many people were giving Tard Boi and friends lots of money to send a message to the chuds. They didn't care if the comics were good or even going to be completed, as they paid for the satisfaction of knowing that they had pushed their middle finger up the collective nostrils of DC and Marvel.

He is just bitter that as CG faded and everyone that was left became Keemstar-wannabes, those people left and took their money with them.

The ones that stayed - HORROR - demanded that Tard Boi hand over what they paid for. Nasty. That disgusting EJ clearly put these filthy ideas into their heads by delivering those products on time. That is why he is the eternal enemy.

I don’t know about that one. At this point, whoever bites is throwing away their money when the obvious answer has been there all along. Just finish your book and deliver the damn product. But, he definitely has been busting his ass drawing Cyberfrog in these last few days. He ‘s doing like a page a day at the rate he’s going. If he had been working like that in the first place, he wouldn’t be in the situation he is in now.

Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. He's WAY behind on products, I highly doubt he will actually FINISH 1 let alone ALL of his campaigns at this point or even be able to start new ones.

I'm pretty sure G.R.R. Martin will finish his series before Frog finsihes 1.

Funny thing tho, if he have done that "crowdfunding consultant" back when CG was somewhat popular, he probably would get traction, but alas, he's late on something once again.
