I think that he is less likely to burst in an explosion of scandals and more likely to deflate to nothing but a husk. He is slowly losing power and influence. Yeah, the really big pop media critic YouTubers who get tens of millions of views each month actually do get some attention from dudes in the industry. Because less people go the theaters these days and get recommendations for, form opinions about, or straight up consume media vicariously through guys like Critical Drinker in the like, these guys have disproportionate affect on public opinion of media. Only Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel at their peak had more influence as critics. Even then, with how much real estate movies and TV have loss to YouTubers, streamers, videogames, and the like, the top YouTube critics like CD, Nerdrotic, MauLer, and the like might edge them out collectively. The guys in film, TV, and comics just don't like to acknowledge this openly.

Simple Dick is beyond sad to watch. He literally believes that everyone has as much free time as he dose and no friends or family to spend it with. Drinker could have a girlfriend, or he could be married and have kids, but see he's smart enough NOT to over Share with the internet.
He IS funny. Just not as funny as the circumstances around him. He is overshadowed.
