I actually wonder sometimes why he decided to delete his "Manga sucks and so do you video" after he went to the trouble of making it. I mean he was deleting (or hiding) a lot of videos when he did that, but that video came out pretty close to the time he did that purge. I could find a character who was just as silly looking from comic books if I wanted to make the effort, but I figure he knows that and this is just rage bait.

The worst part is even that it's Ragebait, it that the ragebait is so utterly awful. Besides I thought he was going for the TikTok crowd, doesn't he know how................

A perfect example of the kind of brainless twit Richard likes. The kind that just listens to what Richard says BPC like and don't like. They have no more dislike for gays and women than Richard did when he was grifting the right wing. What they DO hate, is shit like Tim Drake and Bobby Drake who was straight up till a gay writer decided he needed to see himself in Ice Man. (In both physical and metaphysical) or shit like Kate Bishop going on a paragraph long monologuing about how awesome and cool and romantic lesbian relationships are inherently.

Somebody sends in a superchat taking a swipe at Rekieta. EJ tries not to laugh, but can't hold it in. AZ starts laughing too. They both can't stop laughing. I watch this, and every time I can't help but laugh as well. And the superchat that triggers it isn't even all that funny.

It's true what they say about laughter being contagious.

The reason why EJ would make a shitty lolcow, despite idiots trying really hard to force the issue, is he's actually absorbed all the shit being thrown at him by the likes of EVS, Juju, and Rekieta with more good humor than I think a lot of people would.

Boy, did he pick the wrong character to criticize. I barely read/pay attention to One Piece and that’s one of the most beloved side-characters in the manga/anime, bar none.
 
The Dabbleverse continues to engulf everything in its path, with Comicsgate and da sektur being its victims. Comics need to knock it off with self insert bullshit and gay monologuing and make solid and fun reads that age like wine.

I should note there was a bunch of comics gate stuff in there that I didn't summarize and didn't pay much attention too because I don't know a lot about it. I was mostly interested in an Reilly/Vito/Dick stuff. She bitched about a bunch of names that don't mean anything to me, but might mean a lot to you guys like some lady with a kid who hosts a morning show?

He is pulling a piece of art out of one Manga to say that all manga is no good. But of course that can be done in other ways to other people.

And if Richard wants to call out Manga for having gay characters, I seem to recall that he put one in Jawbreakers. I suppose his real point is probably that manga creators draw too fast and its not fair to true "artists" like Richard who take years to put out comics.

Feel free to post the CG relevant portions here, and I am sure the regulars here would be happy to dissect it and provide additional context.

It's long been suspected (if not outright known) that Mint didn't understand thing one about Comicsgate, or Eric July, and that she was being used by several people.

Ethan is guilty of this too. At one point he cajoled her into attacking Matt Bahr.

I wouldn't exactly say I like Mint, but the way they all used her to go after their enemies is pretty fucking gross. Fuck these people.

I forgot all about Richard's intended history of Richard buying and reading comics "Comic Book: The Comic book". There was an update to the project in January where Richard explained that um copyright made the whole project he had intended impossible. That Richard couldn't just re-draw comics pages with marvel characters and sell them in his book. But Richard is not giving up or more importantly giving back the money. The project will continue and feature even more pages of talking about reading and buying comics that can't be shown in the book.

I hope he does someday deliver the book because it will be the perfect Richard project. But I don't think it will ever actually come out.

Gay characters in manga are actual people while gays in comics are caricature tier.
 
It is seriously unbelievable how many people suffered a form of pignosis in respect of Zack.

Ringmaster EVS use to insist that Zack was some kind of special talent and I think a lot of people bought into this.

But if you look at the comic books he put out, they are just shit.
