Of course I'm not, I'm very obviously not taking this seriously. You are, and really don't understand why people aren't. A grizzled Army vet is "winning" a war with the comic industry with those plucky kids who draw the annie may shit you would buy from the school book fair in fourth grade. And this is to be treated with the utmost respect and never mocked in any way because "we gotta purge the SJWs gang!"

It's the Hambly shit all over again, only this guy -god love him- understood the proper way to monetize his autism. Just like The Liberalists and Baked Alaksas shit before. Just like Milo and Miles before them. There's a very consistent pattern with all this "war against the SJWs!" shit and it seems like none of you ever learn from it, ever.

:\ Not seeing it. Possibly just me being my usual :autism: self, but as best I can tell they're a small publisher producing books they think will sell. Somebody shilling them on KiA is kinda silly, I guess, but not all that surprising.

Might as well make fun of Simon & Schuster for publishing four books "authored" by Snooki of Jersey Shore fame.

This is the funniest comics “pro” drama, all because a dude they hate made a shitload of money and showed them who the comics fans really support. I didn’t back it, because I don’t read comics, but I’m glad he made an assload of money and has a legit publisher.

Those comic stores are rightfully fucked, but hey have no common/business sense or understand who their customers are. Don’t virtue signal, keep your shitty views to yourself and just sell comics idiots. That’s how you run a small business.

It's really Gamergate all over again. They're trying to shut down and stifle any attempts for Jawbreakers to sell, which just gets people previously unaware of this whole thing to look into Comicsgate and get the comic.

I'm willing to put money on Zach actually selling a lot more copies than expected thanks to these people not just letting it sit on their shelves to accumulate mold.

In his first post he seems to be trying to shame Antarctic to drop the book but just about an hour later he unequivocally states that nobody should do that.

Waid's currently writing for Marvel, right? I wonder if someone clued him in that Marvel legal wants no part of the potential shitstorm that would come if one of their big-name writers was trying to strong-arm a smaller publisher.

I know Gamergate comparisons can be overplayed but this reminds me of Moviebob getting fired from Escapist for spazzing his way into FTC violations.
