Batman. Duh.But then who'd protect "The Weak"?
So that guy (TheRealComicBookGamer) who got kicked out of his local comics shop did release the name of the store - but not publicly himself. An article on Dangerous name dropped them - Magic Mirror Comics. TRCBG mentioned this in a livestream he did today. I haven't been able to watch the whole thing myself so I have no idea if there's any other info in there.

So the Variant Comics incident is entirely unrelated and now I question whether it happened at all.
No, Waid is absolutely and thoroughly fucked. He is basically dead in this industry. There's nothing that can save him. What he did basically was take the 'Ethics and Practices' clause of basically any company on Earth and wipe his ass with it. What he did was not only unethical, it skirted the bounds of the law. Not to mention, as others have said, Waid isn't exactly liked at all by many people in the industry and now they've got a legitimate way to permanently remove him from it.

He seems to be an MTG sperg.
Dumb guy to antagonize. Those autists dump immense amounts of money into their decks.
Mark Waid suicide when? I'd say within a month's time.
But then who'd protect "The Weak"?
Batman. Duh.

After he an heroed himself he could come back as The Crow, couldn't he? Or would that be cultural appropriation?![]()
In the world of comics, no one is ever truly dead. Our favorite heroes have overcome death, insanity, the loss of their powers, and even the biggest threat of all: series cancellation. Marvel has announced that it’s bringing back several canceled faves in the new series West Coast Avengers, written by Kelly Thompson (Hawkeye, Jem and the Holograms) with art from Stefano Caselli (Avengers: The Initiative, Civil War: Young Avengers/Runaways).
The new series features Clint Barton/Hawkeye relocating to Los Angeles, where he mentors a young group of heroes that includes America Chavez/Miss America, Kate Bishop/Hawkeye, Kate’s non-powered boyfriend Johnny, Quentin Quire/Kid Omega, and Gwen Poole/Gwenpool. Instead of crashing at a swanky tower or ivy-covered boarding school, the new team will find financial support in the most LA of ways: by starring in a reality TV show.

Thompson said of the team, “They all need and want something from being on that team together. Kate needs to help save LA, and she needs help to do that because villains have taken notice that there are no Super Heroes out there. I think there’s part of her that misses [being on a team] too. She’s been doing her own thing, on her own, and that’s cool. But she was the one, who, with no powers, was like ‘I’m leading the Young Avengers, I’m the boss.’”
This new team-up brings back the beloved characters from canceled series Gwenpool, America, Hawkeye, and Generation X. Though these series were lauded for their POC and queer representation, Marvel ended up canceling them at the end of 2017. In a bitterly ironic turn, all three Marvel series nominated for GLAAD Media Awards this year were canceled, including America, Iceman, and the winner Black Panther: World of Wakanda.
West Coast Avengers hits stores on August 22.
I'm all in favor of a "containment book" for this stuff.
But why ruin Hawkeye with it... ?

Maybe in a stunning plot twist the host of that reality show gets elected President.I have a few issues of the Hawkeye run with Kate Bishop and it wasn't that bad. I kinda dropped it out of not buying many comics in general.
That one was OK. But this new West Coast Avengers apparently has them in a "Reality Show" of some kind and just ugh...
yes I realize “enterprising SJW” is an oxymoron
an enterprising SJW night take a page from our boy Zack’s book and e-beg for funds to buy lots of copies of this and other dangerhair comics to show support for stunning brave yadda yadda
Holy menstruation, this is gonna be such a bomb. I wonder how much of an unlikable bitch America's gonna be.This can't possibly fail, right?

Just look at the cast:
America Chavez (America - Canceled)
Kate "Hawkeye" Bishop (Hawkeye - Canceled)
Clint Barton (Occupy Avengers - Canceled)
Gwendolyn Poole (Gwenpool - Canceled)
Quintavius Quire (Generation X - Canceled)
Black Dude (???)
EDIT:
Initiate REEEEEE-ing from CG Spergs:

It kind of beggars belief that major corporations and political parties seem to be unable to recognize this as a pattern.

The weirdest thing about "lol they got a reality show" is it sounds like a concept 20 years out of date. Of course this is the same company that made an Occupy comic half a decade late and currently has Antifa in Captain America which IMO is like 2 years past relevance.Let's hope this goes the same way as the last super team with a reality show
