I don't think Schulz ever considered the specials canonical, though. Admittedly, there were a few he genuinely didn't like (specifically It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown, the one where the show the Little Red-Haired Girl and give her a name), but I don't think he ever considered any of them to be canon.

The Little Red-Haired Girl was based on the unrequited love of Schulz himself. Needless to say he would not like anything that purported to resolve his own sadness.

I got my Bigfoot Bill book. It's great and I agree with Doug with hardbound being the future. Make these books collectible signed boutique products. Stuff story details in collectible cards and a making-of ashcan. Making them bigger is also great. I'm excited for his next campaign I think is starting in a few weeks.

The quality of the book is astounding. I read it all the way through immediately after opening it. Story is a bit corny and predictable but damn is the art amazing. I got Lonestar a few weeks ago and still haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I'm sure it will be good, but something about the sheer quality of BB compelled me to put it at the top of the reading list.

I dont think Hardbound is the Future for everyone. Its pretty expensive to do and shipping is a pain. I realy like the Hard, well made Paperbacks the French put out.
Asterix sold 400 million books with less than 40 issues and in 50 years.

Yeah it was written as if it was a pilot for a TV show on CNN. Then Doug kind of reveled that it was on Ethan's live stream and he's been sending out copies to his connections in LA.

Yeah I can't see Zack's stuff as hardbound, I like the book he gave me (10$ cheaper, too) but it would seem out of place to be super large hardbound with embossing. But I'd pay extra for it, either way.

a Harder softcover would be Perfect for him. i dont know if Asterix or other French comics are a thing in the colonies, but they are just perfect for 48 pages in higher quality.

She's not super fat, but she's put on weight since being married.

She plays it off, but you can kind of tell the fat jokes are starting to get to her.

She's a fat cunt. Her body is not morbidly obese, but the true fat is in her mind and in her soul, the filthy fat whore.

What projects from the so called "first round" of CG are left to fulfill? Cyberfrog, Ravage Kill All Men, Red Rooster, Detective Dead, Brand, Black and White, Stealing Solo, Asguard. What else? Jesus it's hard to remember all this shit. But those are the ones I remember EVS talking about early on his show.
I think these have been shipped: Jawbreakers. Iron Sights, Graveyard Shift, Trump Space Force, Brutas, Stardust, Bigfoot Bill, Iron Heart (or whatever Mike's book was called). That ratio of fulfilled vs not fulfilled is still a bit tilted.

I'll bet this grosses at least $100K. If Kwanzer by himself could get almost $50K for White I'm assuming this will do better than that. Would be funny as hell if it didn't, though, but I think that's what we're looking at.

$10 gets you a digital copy and more importantly a mention in the thank you section. If all the prominent CGers signed up for that, would they honor that pledge? ?
I'm going to guess under $50k, depending on how much CG accidentally promotes it. Most of these ~30 creator books I've seen are lucky to get 1-2k per person.

Some of the outsanding weren't scheduled until around this time e.g. Brand was Feb, RR is March, B+W May. So some may ship soon, but as i always say give +6 months to any crowdfunding project.

Got my books too and that was money well spent. Even got it done ahead of schedule. This shit was supposed to be done in like May. CG spergs take note of Doug's work ethic. Looking at you frogman.

This is why I think it most likely won't happen unless they get the logistics down to a science. Doug took a pretty hard hit to the wallet, granted he also made the book bigger and added gold trimmings.

The digital copies of Asgard have gone out and it went to print last month so that should be happening very soon and Brutas got delayed because Donal keeps going back and retouching the older pages. Probably gonna be seeing that in next month or so, he sounded pretty close to being finished. PDF's of a couple other books have also gone out, but I have no idea what would be considered first round.

Twitter will be so full of salt tonight. Tug will overtake the dead beats Kickstarter soon. EVS will boost him alot in his daily stream and its like 1k to go.

TBF, Doug has been pretty open about this being an effort to joltstart his career. It wouldn't surprise me if that's the sole reason he went with such a lavish hardbound cover-Marketing to big-wigs.

He's experienced enough in business to know he can write off the entire 18k in excess shipping as a business loss.

Doug is a smart fellow and he doesn't have all those connections for no reason.

Connections or no, now that Doug has signed up with this alt-right organized harassment campaign, I will be surprised if he gets anything from Hollywood out of this.

I don't know if Lauren always was fat the way she is now, but she was always an ugly person. Like, inside.
She goes through life needing something to funnel her hatred at.

Depends on how desperate Netflix is for another hit.

Ok, I just gotta say, I like TUG, I think this is funny, but this is really fucking stupid that TUG is gonna surpass Deadbeats already. How are 40 people getting outshilled? $25k shouldn't be that hard to reach.
