So my copy of Ben Henderson’s “Ravage: Kill All Men” arrived yesterday. I even got a free extra cover. That’s another CG book successfully delivered.

Even funnier when you consider that statement isn’t even accurate. By her own admission, Cain was never harassed over that feminist agenda cover. The most she ever blocked was 8 people, and half of them were women mad that she revealed in that comic that she retconned Mockingbird’s history so that, instead of being a rape victim who later killed her rapist in self defense, she admitted that she lied about being raped to cover up her cheating on her husband and murdered her lover to keep the truth from getting out.
 
Huh, you remember how DC started sell 100 page collections in Wal-Marts? I saw that Marvel started doing that with their current stuff......except I have no idea what's in them since it's multiple comics wrapped in a lot of plastic and a white paper in the back so I can only see the first cover and not whatever's in the back. Just a bundle of unknown floppies.

This used to be standard practice according to Zack and EVS. Good comic in front, complete utter trash in the middle, and then an ok book in the back. Used to boost sales of trash comics. I'm not surprised since Marvel is already cooking the books in every legal manner as it is...

It's just off-putting next to the DC ones which at least have original covers telling you what's inside, not to mention you can look through them at the register while you wait in line. "Mystery piles" doesn't seem like they have confidence in their product in comparison.

"Piles" is a pretty accurate word for anything Marvel isn't moving. I wonder if Whore Goddess Mode has hit these "piles" yet.

You know, why doesn't Renfamous have it's own page? I mean, it's essentially an attention-seeking transgender creature with a hard-on for comicsgaters and Nick Rekieta. It seems to be everywhere there's drama, and with all it's sperging, it's almost shocking that it doesn't have it's own page.

I say "almost" because outside of having transboners for drama, it's just a living caricature of typical SJWs.
 
Jawbreakers Remastered is chugging along slowly but surely. It's funded, but I can't gauge how high this could go. I think he tapped out the CG audience for this and expanding on an industry blackout is gonna be tricky.

Say what you want about WarCampaign, they were aware enough to set a low goal because they're rookies and not something crazy expecting people to smell their farts. But that was pretty fast, so I'm assuming they got the EVS bump. The art does look nice though.

Also they passed DeadBeats already, lmao. The orca should focus more on the book instead of picking fights.

I still have no idea why the honchos at Marvel decided it was a good idea to sign off on that. Probably thought the pushback was going to stir up publicity and they could just blame it on "evil cis white men".

Vestige sounds like an interesting book. I might throw some cash at it myself.

"LOL" all you want, RenFatAss. In just a few HOURS, they smoked "your" book, which is still struggling to reach its goal after TWO WEEKS.

Maybe Ren can "stick it to dur haterz" by buying a copy, getting a less fat woman to pose with it, then post it on Twitter. THAT'LL SHOW 'EM!

Many like me are against giving it a page, as it really, really, really, wants it for victum pity points and to try to feel important. Here's the thing though, it's not. Seriously what does it do? Tweet, that's it. It likes to boast how important it is, but has only just announced it would be 1 of 40+ creators on a shit indie book and will likely contribute ~4 pages of writing. This post is probably longer than the amount of words required for that.

I've said it before but i consider it like the Krassenstein bros that are under every Trump post, except at least they have done stupid shit in real life (fraud, laughable kickstarter/youtube/reddit AMA). You may as well just create a bot to post all of their tweets because that's all the thread would be, look at what this dumbarse tweeted. If it goes back to trying TI by calling conventions / news stations / etc it might become worthy, but i don't see it until then. That being said some people are talking about her in the whale watch thread in weebwars.

I only put her in my post so people could have a laugh at an idiot.

They are also smart with branding, EVS is all over that page despite only being a cover artist.

He probably should have done a new cover, but it's still chugging along nicely as it's just under $20k as of now. Mark Waid won't be happy as this thing clearly shows that people want the product enough for a second printing and would have made a nice sum for AP. Waid also only had to worry about malice damages on ~$404k worth of sales, now its ~$424k and rising.

I use backer tracker to predict, but it takes about a week to get a solid prediction due to the first few days of huge sale numbers. It also only updates about once per day and hasn't picked up jawbreakers remastered yet.

I may have to eat crow here. The Indiegogo offering they came up with looks pretty good. Like a 19th century Kingsmen or something. I'd put them down as nothing but a collection of Twitter spergs.
