Yellowflash accused me of always asking "What have you done for me lately" which is a completely baseless accusation but here's proof of him sperging that Ethan hadn't done enough for him and umbrella back in 2018.

Brett Smith is 100% political. Comicsgate is honestly better off without losers like him. I've heard his page rate for coloring is incredibly high because he uses his political connections for clout. The guy is kind of a snake and I'd be wary to trust him or get him involved in anything. Smith was never there for the community and only focused on his right wing agenda. He doesnt care about comics only uses them to push politics and get closer to right wing pundits with real life inserts.
TUG and YF were smart not to trust Smith. At least TUG and YF were comic fans at some point. Even Ethan likes comics otherwise he wouldn't have made it his career. With Brett Smith I'm not sure the guy ever cared about comics.

Everybody seems to want to tell Nasser and Mike what to do. Nasser owned his mistake, Mike said all is forgiven on Twitter, but we're still here arguing about how they should conduct their relationship.

There's something else going on here. Nasser wasn't "criticizing" Mike. He was taking shots at him and his project in a rather unhelpful way. But Nasser stopped and apologized when he realized he was out of line. Mike was good with that. People backing Nasser's nastiness were not.

I think this is about people who don't like Mike rooting for him to fail. Most seem to be ex-CG. I don't know why they have it in for Mike. (I mean I get that Mike can be abrasive but so can Nasser or Doug for that matter) Mike's project looks okay. I don't think it's bad for what it is, a political comic like AOC's or the Lim MAGA books, but there's a whole lot of disproportionate vitriol being lobbed at it from an unexpected (at least by me) direction.

It's not like Mike made half the book margins or delivered it in a sandwich bag or mailed it like a flier or promised 88 pages whilst delivering 80.

Perhaps this is because Lonestar 2 is so late. I dunno.

Ethan has gone on record saying that Richard, Cecil and Malin are his friends.

Ethan's also on record saying that TenNaple, Miller and Edwin are "friends".

That "friendship" proved conditional and the main condition was compliance. Friends of Ethan's who refuse to comply with his wishes become enemies. That's what Ethan is really talking about when he says this person or that "betrayed" him. Betrayal means not doing as ones told.

That's not friendship.

Ethan doesn't have friends. I don't think he's capable. The two new artists from DC who have declared for CG will soon learn this if they aren't aware.This is why NO ONE pushes back on Ethan during his streams. It's also why they're so boring. Mike and Doug among others used to share contrary opinions and stand by them on Ethan's streams. Those people are gone now or they're in line and complying.

Consider this. Ro is an idiot. He wanted more than anything to be the access line to the pros. I think its more likely Doug and Mike and Edwin represented threats to that and he flexed on them. It backfired first with Doug, who figured out what was happening because it was done to him before. Then Ro flexed on Mike and Edwin. It worked for awhile, but I think Edwin's conscious got to him. Basically Ro took people who did not like Frog as things stood and he miscalculated.
