Considering CG books consistently do better perched atop a groundswell of SJW reeing, you’d think they’d wizen up and keep their mouths shut. They’re only going to draw more attention to it, and Dynamite has proven time and again that they won’t bend the knee. Likely due to the fact that, much like EVS, they’re run by cutthroat New Jersey scumbags who will do whatever it takes to make a dime.

This is poetic. Mid tier talent like Gail Simone relied on Dynamite for steady gigs as they churned out license comics that needed people who had some name recognision. Same mid tier talents created an environment that was more hostile to more or equally talented people than themselves and now they find themselves out of job because of the industry they created.
Now the Gails of the world must beg the Big Two for an ever-shrinking pool of gigs and/or actually work on some creator-owned project that may be ignored - because they don't have the brand recognition of the licensies...

It's been a glorious 24 hours. The unintentional self-owning by the SJW crowd has been something to behold. CG isn't demanding the SJW's associated with Dynamite lose their jobs, their own "friends" are. I cringed when I saw that Cecil cover just for the laziness it represents but it might've been worth it for the reaction it produced. Seeing the remaining WC'ers ally with them is just an added bonus.
Hopefully it translates into some bigger numbers for the art auction tonight.

a) a bunch of autists act like a bunch of autists against the big and important and serious people in the field
b) the big and important and serious people in the field go absolutely apeshit and out-retard the autists a thousand times over with the idea that their chimpouts will translate to good PR and marketing and networking, which it turns out these big and important and serious people have been quietly haemorrhaging for a while
c) sooner or later this backfires and the big and important and serious people find themselves out of a job or taking a paycut or otherwise humiliated in public.....causing *even bigger* chimpouts against the original autists, even if they have long since moved on to bigger and better things or have found their own success in the field, again with the aim of getting enough asspats to move a few sales/votes

It's interesting to see the divide. Three camps have formed among the mainstream.
The first are the nobodies. These are the Kwanzer's and other talentless trash who could never get a job even at Dynamite and their access allies.
The second are the work for hire bitches. Mark Russell, Gail Simone, and company. These people are delightfully miserable, going back and forth on can I work for trash people. It shows that if Dan Didio had exhibited a spine, all but a handful of talentless malcontents would have fallen in line.
The final group are the made men. These are people who would mostly never condescend to work for Dynamite. Snyder and Ewing and the like. Snyder hasn't tweeted, but Ewing has seen fit to engage in the questionable act of sabotaging a rival company he doesn't work for.
I'd say this is something of a test for the Fox News model in comics, but I think comichron is hopelessly compromised.
