Somebody is offering me money to do something I trained for and I've considered my dream job my whole life, heck it might even work out to being a steady gig, but let me check with a triple chinned blue hair before I do something so damning as, y'know, trying to earn a living.
Even by Renfamous standards this is ridiculous. I guess they're trying to head off another Tom King fiasco, but this makes CG look like nothing but the good guys.
edit: Something else about her tweet bugged me but I couldn't quite remember what. It then dawned on me this morning that since she's a huge blockbot user there's a distinct possibility anybody following five or six of the "wrong" accounts are autoblocked by her anyway and would have no idea about this generous "offer" in the first place.

I'd say the most interesting reveal was the screencaps showing the Whisper Network's current and continued efforts to cancel Scott Snyder. Revealing that there was a coordinated campaign to cancel Zack was less of a shock, since that's been accepted as common knowledge in CG conflict and already escalated into a lawsuit two years ago. More interesting was that the group was inactive for a year, which alludes to the group's purpose when Tess Fowler's crying out that Comicsgate "resurrected from the dead" coinciding with the renewed activity of the Facebook group.
In other news, Mike S. Miller got Dean Cain, Fox News pundit and former lead for Superman TV series Lois & Clark, to actually sit down for an interview and promo for his comic. Mike was able to call back on long years of being a livestream host to avoid obvious pratfalls and Cain was able to beam out his celebrity charisma to the extent where both parties to get through their grievances against crazy leftists nowadays for an overall successful segment. Things went so well that Cain agreed to autographic another 25 copies of MAGA7. A rare W on the Smiller column.
Finally we have Mark Waid, appearing at the virtual Comic Con 2020 convention representing the Humanoids imprint and sole white man on the panel. When asked by the interviewer on what's the appeal of what Humanoids is putting out, he gives a speech about how comics are more than just superheroes and capes and crimefighting, but can also encompass genres like fantasy and science fiction and anything one can imagine. The first two comics then discussed are Omni and Ignited which are both straight up superhero comics.
Next was Joseph P. Illidge in the top left, writing his passion project - the story of an obese black woman leading an aspiring backup band for Prince in the 1980s. Obliged to show off his woke credentials, he says his story tackles issues of colorism (lacking any racism) and body positivity. The next creator, Ibrahim Moustafa, wants to make a science fiction version of the Count of Monte Cristo. Kind of like Ganketsuouo, except made by Humanoids. All the characters are explicitly caucasian and within two sentences it's clear that Ibrahim does not give two shits about identity politics. After him is Melody Cooper, writer of Omni starring an afro-latino female "social justice warrior scientist badass" who champions writing truth to power about BLM and every pressing cause of our troubled times. Waid cuts her off to talk about how he would never do something like that because it results in the story aging terribly and how he prefers to handle stories via allegory. Cooper glares into the camera but Waid is too autistic to notice. Cooper brings the interview back to high grounding about shoveling in her dipshit politics into her stories but Waid shoehorns himself in again to say how he's the oldest (and whitest) person on the panel and how he says that all the young people coordinating in action gives him hope for the future. The final twenty minutes slowly devolves into a low key jockeying for status between an autistic Mark Waid and his obnoxious SJW employee who starts throwing out her experience in film and television as well,

Generally i'd say it's lazyness for quick superchat bux (eg.: EFAP), but CG is a networking and community group and livestreams are a perfect method to bring people together. With that said something I really like about My Child Zachariah is that he's still true to his mission statement: sit somewhere with a comic book and cough at it while occasionally talking about it for 5-10 minutes.

How do you like the comics cancel culture now? The woke crowd is crying "unfair" but how many of these same people stood with Tom King when he tried to cancel Jae Lee? The SAME people who said "yasss Tom Slay!" are now assmad that one of their own got the same treatment.
I think it's ridiculous that the paper issued an apology over a cartoon nowhere near as edgy as old "doonsbury" strips but this is the climate SJW comics created now they have to live in it too.

Looking through the article again, I still find it pretty amazing how early they decided to go after Ya Boi. Like those post from Mags for example where Waid asked for dirt on him and trying to shut down his patreon. He started his channel in April 2017, that shit was in September 2017. They were already going after him and seething within 6 months. SIX MONTHS! How many subs could a ranting comic channel possibly have at that point to warrant this? A few thousand at best? Views in the low thousands? It's nothing.
They could have just ignored him and no one would know who he was. Instead he's raising over 1 million dollars making comics and now King Baby has to deal with desperately trying to avoid getting dragged to court.

Vestige2's 60-day campaign ended and went In-Demand without even breaking $40k. That's shocking, I expected it to at least make $40k in the first 30-day window and even that would've been humiliating.

Poulter summarizes the conflict between him and Cridious over the Comicsgate trademark is that the court has sided with Cridious for now ,but that since Cridious has never actually put out a work under the trademark, trademark ownership can still be disputed and that this is something that he intends to pursue. Friended asks (for the first time) why does Poulter go to all this trouble to antagonize potential Comicsgate customers; Preston answers that CGers are very hostile to him already, that he's long past caring about their sentiments and that he's uninterested on focusing on the pas,t when the shattered present and potential future of Comicsgate is so much more fascinating. Nemesis continues a long string of vulgar jokes at Preston's expense. Friended puts his foot down that Comicsgaters being angry at Preston and their reasons for being so is important and says that Preston's antagonistic conduct requires justification. Preston dismisses Friended's objections on the grounds that the idea that Comicsgaters will some day welcome him at this point is an absurd one; as this transpires a new presence enters the chat, targeting everyone on the panel indiscriminately.
Deadwood Dale speaks for the first time, presenting Comicsgate as a forgiving, conciliatory lot that would no doubt embrace Preston Poulter if he would only acknowledge Comicsgate publicly, say "hi Comicsgate" and let bygones be bygones. Preston says he's happy leaving the Comicsgate money to guys like Adam and Dale and that he is more than happy to take the money of people who hate Comicsgate for himself. Dale again appeals for Preston to put animosity aside because at the end of the day we're all indie creators that are targeted by the insidious female SJW Whisper Network. Preston condescendingly again dismisses Dale's assertions that reconciliation between him and CG are possible while Dale's overtures are being even less well received by certain members of the chat.

The show starts to fall into a familiar pattern of Friended repeating the same questions over and over in the hopes of either Preston falling into a gotcha or getting an answer Friended can comprehend while Preston keeps repeating his flippant dismissals until he starts mocking the host's repetitiveness. Preston continues pushing the topic of his interest - Nick Barrucci's alleged involvement in the removal of Mike S Miller from Comicsgate, unveiled by Ro Kabir on the Warcampaign progrram and the subject digresses into whether it's feasible if Comicsgate genuinely cares about the matter of homophobia if they are, as Poulter puts it, "a group of anti-PC, anti-SJW conservative edgelords not inclined to care about the issue" and that such concerns were forced upon them by Nick Barrucci through Frog. Friended reiterates CG's anti-SJW ethos while Dale mouths "but homophobia costs customer money..." This debate is brought to a halt by Friended dismissing the idea that Frog was possibly beholden to the guy he depended on for campaign fulfillment and mentoring in regards to self-publishing as a "wackadoodle conspiracy theory" and Preston laughing and calling him "a fucking liar" and a party-line spewing johnny-come-lately carpetbagger. Friended again appeals to civility in the name of maximum customer appeal, which is again dismissed by Preston proclaiming that he does not give a shit about offending CGers.
Preston decides to break this deadlock by just calling Friended and Dale dumb, since he's learned that mockery and open hostility seem to get Friended to drop an issue, at least temporarily. Next is the other question Friended keeps returning to - the question of if Preston is an SJW. Prodded, Friended defines SJW as a power hungry cancel culture practitioner. Preston says by Friended's own definition, he objectively is not. This segues into Poulter's reporting of Cecil's Ca$h Grab as proof of Preston engaging in cancellation and therefore being an SJW. Preston says that it was only proof of the comic breaking the harassment clause of the IndieGoGo ToS, and denies then mocks Friended's inquiries that Doug TenNapel orchestrated the action from behind the scenes.
Friended objects that accusations of TenNapel-based conspiracy aren't "wackadoodle conspiracy theory" as he has an established record of recruiting SWC as operatives in the Ribbitcoin debacle. Preston pivots to asking why Friended is outraged over someone buying the coin and not the fraud of Ribbitcoin itself. Friended objects to Poulter's choice of words but Preston doubles down that what Dynamite and Frog was "F-R-U-A-D fraud;". Superchats start coming in, but only the following two were given an actual response to by Preston.
Preston argues that what he says on the fraudulent RibbitCoin debacle ultimately doesn't matter and that no one involved sincerely believes it matters because Frog's customers are buying his product out of political and spite motivations and not out of desire for silver frog coins.
Dale actually has an interesting question for Preston - what's the deal with Captain Cummings? Preston's answer is that Hut and Cummings are calling him unreliable while they threw out baseless claims that Simeti faked his swatting so fuck them, but before he can get too deep listing his grudges within "Anti-CG" is cut off by Friended saying "but I already established you say false things, like fraud Preston", which is only rewarded with more smug condescension from Poulter. Frog starts rumbling from the chat about going on the stream to ask a few questions. Grimm is superchatting his sealioning at this point while Frog steers the subject back to internecine Anti-CG conflict.
Preston admits to being shaken at being so taken in by such a person, and that perhaps there is value in 'cancel culture' if it screens out people like Zombie, which offends Friended and the tension in the show starts to dissipate as all three panelists are interrupt to simp at a non-sequitor by TSWG Anna, the spell thankfully broken up by Yellowflash's constant trickle of two-dollar shitposts in Preston and Zombie's direction. Dale wants to return to the subject of the Whisper Network, but Preston clearly does not care about "a catty facebook group". Friended says again that he doesn't understand why Preston would choose to be antagonistic towards Comicsgate and openly calling CG customers cultists and paypigs, the debate getting looser with Preston supplied his reasons for thinking and saying so and Friended expressing his exasperation at why anyone would say such hostile things to customers, spilling into an unstructured debate over the RibbitCoin affair, which Friended doesn't care about but Frog continues to superchat about for an hour until Pouter and Friended cordially thank each other for sharing this program and dialogue together and Frog is brought on for a 20 minute rebuttal.
Frog thanks Adam Friended for forcing Preston after 8 superchats to say that the RibbitCoin fraud claims hurt his business and claims victory in this great debate for Comicsgate. Adam even goes so far to continue the debate winstreak by forming a texas tornado match of Mike S Miller + Doug TenNapel vs Deadwood Dale and Adam Friended. Frog is mostly interested in defending the removal of Smiller interspersed with some small talk about how to tastefully depict mother-son incest in the upcoming Cyberfrog: Rekt Planet sidestory involving Scorpione. But not only will you get that oedipal content when you buy Cyberfrog, people who bought the Executive Honeycomb Box will get a laundry list of perks and variants and PVC action figures. Finally remembering that the purpose of this was to rebut Preston, Frog lets out some lines about how unfortunate it is that some people are unable to get on his show and turn bitter.

I've written in the past about the nascent Sketch Squad as a looseknit taskforce to keep stalwart true believers in Comicsgate like Sketch, J-Money and Deadwood Dale from being isolated and targeted by more organized groups. Preston continues pushing the topic of his interest - Nick Barrucci's alleged involvement in the removal of Mike S Miller from Comicsgate, unveiled by Ro Kabir on the Warcampaign progrram and the subject digresses into whether it's feasible if Comicsgate genuinely cares about the matter of homophobia if they are, as Poulter puts it, "a group of anti-PC, anti-SJW conservative edgelords not inclined to care about the issue" and that such concerns were forced upon them by Nick Barrucci through Frog. Friended reiterates CG's anti-SJW ethos while Dale mouths "but homophobia costs customer money..." This debate is brought to a halt by Friended dismissing the idea that Frog was possibly beholden to the guy he depended on for campaign fulfillment and mentoring in regards to self-publishing as a "wackadoodle conspiracy theory" and Preston laughing and calling him "a fucking liar" and a party-line spewing johnny-come-lately carpetbagger. Friended again appeals to civility in the name of maximum customer appeal, which is again dismissed by Preston proclaiming that he does not give a shit about offending CGers.
Preston decides to break this deadlock by just calling Friended and Dale dumb, since he's learned that mockery and open hostility seem to get Friended to drop an issue, at least temporarily. Next is the other question Friended keeps returning to - the question of if Preston is an SJW. Prodded, Friended defines SJW as a power hungry cancel culture practitioner. Preston says by Friended's own definition, he objectively is not. This segues into Poulter's reporting of Cecil's Ca$h Grab as proof of Preston engaging in cancellation and therefore being an SJW. Preston says that it was only proof of the comic breaking the harassment clause of the IndieGoGo ToS, and denies then mocks Friended's inquiries that Doug TenNapel orchestrated the action from behind the scenes.
Friended objects that accusations of TenNapel-based conspiracy aren't "wackadoodle conspiracy theory" as he has an established record of recruiting SWC as operatives in the Ribbitcoin debacle. Preston pivots to asking why Friended is outraged over someone buying the coin and not the fraud of Ribbitcoin itself. Friended objects to Poulter's choice of words but Preston doubles down that what Dynamite and Frog was "F-R-U-A-D fraud;". Superchats start coming in, but only the following two were given an actual response to by Preston.
Preston argues that what he says on the fraudulent RibbitCoin debacle ultimately doesn't matter and that no one involved sincerely believes it matters because Frog's customers are buying his product out of political and spite motivations and not out of desire for silver frog coins.
Dale actually has an interesting question for Preston - what's the deal with Captain Cummings? Preston's answer is that Hut and Cummings are calling him unreliable while they threw out baseless claims that Simeti faked his swatting so fuck them, but before he can get too deep listing his grudges within "Anti-CG" is cut off by Friended saying "but I already established you say false things, like fraud Preston", which is only rewarded with more smug condescension from Poulter. Frog starts rumbling from the chat about going on the stream to ask a few questions. Grimm is superchatting his sealioning at this point while Frog steers the subject back to internecine Anti-CG conflict.
Preston admits to being shaken at being so taken in by such a person, and that perhaps there is value in 'cancel culture' if it screens out people like Zombie, which offends Friended and the tension in the show starts to dissipate as all three panelists are interrupt to simp at a non-sequitor by TSWG Anna, the spell thankfully broken up by Yellowflash's constant trickle of two-dollar shitposts in Preston and Zombie's direction. Dale wants to return to the subject of the Whisper Network, but Preston clearly does not care about "a catty facebook group". Friended says again that he doesn't understand why Preston would choose to be antagonistic towards Comicsgate and openly calling CG customers cultists and paypigs, the debate getting looser with Preston supplied his reasons for thinking and saying so and Friended expressing his exasperation at why anyone would say such hostile things to customers, spilling into an unstructured debate over the RibbitCoin affair, which Friended doesn't care about but Frog continues to superchat about for an hour until Pouter and Friended cordially thank each other for sharing this program and dialogue together and Frog is brought on for a 20 minute rebuttal.
Frog thanks Adam Friended for forcing Preston after 8 superchats to say that the RibbitCoin fraud claims hurt his business and claims victory in this great debate for Comicsgate. Adam even goes so far to continue the debate winstreak by forming a texas tornado match of Mike S Miller + Doug TenNapel vs Deadwood Dale and Adam Friended. Frog is mostly interested in defending the removal of Smiller interspersed with some small talk about how to tastefully depict mother-son incest in the upcoming Cyberfrog: Rekt Planet sidestory involving Scorpione. But not only will you get that oedipal content when you buy Cyberfrog, people who bought the Executive Honeycomb Box will get a laundry list of perks and variants and PVC action figures. Finally remembering that the purpose of this was to rebut Preston, Frog lets out some lines about how unfortunate it is that some people are unable to get on his show and turn bitter.
