You do know by your own admission Donal only paid himself $72 a page as a penciller then, right? That'd mean even with my most generous percentage, you'd only get like $1,300 bucks as a writer, since you'd get about $28, which is actually only a bit better than @FROG 's evaluation given the pricing.

Also you keep wanting to lump payment as a writer as the partner profits rather than the two seperate things they are (profit+work as a writer). The profits can only be dispersed after the product is out dude, since it's not just paying for lost books; it's factoring people saying "wow, fuck these two I want my money back". You always leave profits splitting for last. Now if you didn't get paid as a writer, that's a different story.

Because what a partner gets and a writer gets are different things.

That wasn't a page rate, that was for other things. He took money from the campaign to buy things. That's not an "admission." You're looking for a weird "gotcha."
 
@NasserRabadi13 I realize that you've been done wrong Nasser but might I suggest concentrating on trying to get on Nick Rekieta's show and getting all your affairs in order? While I'm happy to watch you and Donal go back and forth for my own amusement, this issue probably isn't going to get resolved by continually posting the same thing over and over again in this thread.

Personally I think it's pretty fucked up that you've had to wait so long for payment, whatever the amount of that payment is, just as the backers of Brutus have had to wait to receive the book. I'd suggest organizing those screenshots and DMs into something coherent enough for Nick to understand and start practicing presenting your side of things to him as opposed to presenting it to us.

Even then there's no guarantee that Nick can resolve this issue, but he can probably make recommendations to both you and Donal as a licensed attorney and give you some idea of what your options are.

I get you man. I have some screen shots together, I guess I'll get the rest together--but it would just be easier if Donal paid me so we wouldn't have to do all this extra stuff. It could all be resolved in the next 5 minutes if Donal wanted it to be.

That is very funny to see Ethan condemning someone for "White supremacy", while it never bothered Evs when he was live streaming and getting private phone conversations with Vox Day, he only took issue with it when his own "public" started to inform themselves more deeply about Vox Day lore and past deeds, what he stands for, but for over a year EVS used all the Vox Day verbiage, his catch phrases, terms and definitions / theories, as well as Zach, they were both riding that wave, even before EVS declared himself "comicsgate" it begun with Zach in 2016 / 2017, but EVS automatically adhered with his friend to all of the Vox's Day theories.

I am probably the only one to notice a pattern here from people asking advice from the same master / ideologue, there is no coincidence to propel yourself as controlled opposition when you are listening to the guy that gave you the idea of the comicsgate dread ilk and everything you spat to your audience for the good part of his first livestream year (before he had his secretive deal with dynamite, of course, then Vox Day wasn't interesting on anymore on a buiseness standpoint.)

Oh lighten up. These are the same people who tried to literally destroy his life by accusing him of being a Nazi because of a fictional villain he drew and then claiming that his signature is a modified swastika. Nothing wrong with giving them a small taste of their own medicine for a few hours.

The Vox Day stuff has no weight. Nobody in real life really knows who he is or cares. Did you know Hitler liked dogs? I like dogs too. That doesn't make me a neo-Nazi.

Perhaps the Left has so diminished the value of terms like neo-Nazi and racist by overuse that I just don't give a shit any more.

You don't understand this on the context of being an hypocrite and always turning in the direction of the most favorable wind , jumping ship when you feel it's not profitable anymore. EVS is a coward and an opportunist of the worst kind, he is the one stabbing everybody in the back and then just inverting the situation every single time.

I don't really care about them being called the "neo nazi" bullshit, what i say is they are all using the same grifter tactics, the same fake "being attacked" false flag event to propel their popularity and cycle through phases of self advert and phases of planned victimization, be it by inventing themselves new ennemies, using sock puppet accounts for this, or even declaring one of their own their new ennemy / target, every single Vox Day apostle are masters at this grift. 200% of the time it's all staged drama. The first audience / customer target of EVS was both Vox Day's and Zach that was already repeating everything from the Vox Day Mantra to his audience before EVS took this flame and continued with it.
 
One more for the Frog A-log!

This was a fantastic window into what goes on behind the scenes with a crowd-funding comic as well as a glimpse of how Sciver's circus of promotion boils down to: lots and lots of begging for those who are lower on the totem tadpole. Nasser never truly assimilated and his opportunities were limited. Doesn't help he gets punchy, but in hindsight it was great to see.

Looking at DM's just over 2 years old now and seeing all those names no longer with CG: Edwin, Mike, Ro, Cummings etc. Of course it's all because they were horribly ungrateful idiots to such a magnanimous sweet beam of sunshine that was Uncle She-He. Not that every single one of those guys didn't have a collection of their own flaws, but you can pretty much guarantee Ethan will find a way to bring out the absolute worst in his friends... at least those who have less clout in Comics and/or YouTube.

The real reason Nasser deserves 50% at this point is for having his reputation absolutely destroyed on the Sciververse network which is where all the paypiggies were, and was essentially forced out of a career prematurely. That, and due to the DM's from Donal and straight through the frog's vomers we know they are perfectly okay with letting Nasser drift in space. They wonder why he complains when they joke about leaving him with nothing.

Now hopefully that's over with for now and I can move on to Ethan overspeaking his mind about Nazi/Flash symbols. It's hilarious that neither Antos or Ethan have the slightest idea what they're talking about. Keep sending those hard-earned superchats little pigs!

I'm literally not invested to create a gotcha since I gave up on the comic a year ago. I'm just highlighting the situation based on what I've seen

This is why you struggle to succeed; this pissy defensiveness when you hear something you don't like.

You cannot use Media Mail for comics. If the USPS finds out you're shipping comics via a service meant to discount shipping "educational materials", they'll shut you down. It happened to us and caused a headache. But you can try to get away with it if you want.

We ship First Class, which is still fairly inexpensive. It's between $7-8 domestic. Sometimes we ship Priority.

We've found that on average, Domestic and International, we're paying around $12 to ship a comic book. That's what I tell people to consider when they're anticipating costs for their comic book.,

My post office said it was fine if it didnt have ads. It's also fine if it had a barcode, which i think Donal actually did get for Brutas, so it should be fine via media mail.

"Media Mail packages may not contain advertising. Comic books do not meet this standard."

Is what it literally says on their website.

For those who are not reading impaired or have comprehension issues, it means if you have no advertisements, you're good to go. Basically "graphic novel with no ads = OK, mainstream comic with ads = not media mail."

Thiis has been a public service announcement.
