All 5 books have already been paid for out of pocket. There's no reason to do an Indiegogo and charge people even more money for something they could get right now for cheaper. They can get the paperback in hand in 2 days (people already got them), or they could get the ebook and read it instantly on any device.
There's no need to do a crowdfund, overcharge people, buy a bunch of shipping supplies, and make them wait months when there is absolutely no need to. If people want to support it, they can just buy it on Amazon. I haven't had one customer tell me "I WANNA BUY IT BUT I DON'T USE AMAZON." and even if they don't use Amazon, they can order it from ANY bookstore in the world.
And they've all been great.
I stay silent partly because there is too much of a shitshow happening for me to talk about Nasser and part because I have yet to finish his Christmas 100 days to Halloween book.
And boy, Nasser, you are dumb!
I am pulling your leg because I read the previews for your first two books.
I was grossed out in a bad way by the puke eating scene and Duality, while fun, read like it was written by a 15yo girl on Wattpad.
But the intro to the first book, with the case from the 70's and 80's promises such a great novel. Get a video of somebody doing a dramatic reading of it, add some spooky stock images and upload it on your channel, it will sell more books than your shilling it on livestreams and begging people to pitty-buy it.
It is very well written and to the point.
What I have read of the novel so far is not bad either. Stephen King it is not, but there is some competent writing, nothing cringy up to this point, the characters are somewhat resembling people (even though like the one talking like a fake geek girl got on my nerves) and in a slasher about a house full of college girls, I was expecting a certain bit of sleaze, but I can live without it (but, again, I am halfway through).
Oh, and I noticed a couple typos here and there, but nothing dramatic.
So yes, 100 nights to halloween looks pretty good and can be a success if you learn how to market it properly,
instead of expecting people to buy it because you wrote it, like an SJW!
Trump losing is a mixed basket. On the one hand, it's fun to watch Leftists have to play defense as the unlikeable incompetents they elected fuck things up. There's also less screeching about "NAZIS", which is nice.
On the other hand, the stock market is crashing and Twitter SJWs feel empowered to actually cancel people like Gina Carano. So that's not so great.
Still, every time Nabisco annoys people about Trans rights, normies are potentially receptive to ComicsGate. When Superman is race-swapped, people are annoyed and investigate alternatives. Perhaps CYBERFROG. As long as SJWs are active, ComicsGate is turbo-powered. Having said that, the stock market crashing doesn't help us at all.
Zack retiring into the sunset is very Zack. You're probably right. I'll still bug him about getting back into the game.
The moment the first carpet bombing happens in the Middle East you will see the Twitter SJWs eating eachother to pieces.
And Zack does not need bugging. He fought the fucking Taliban or something.
He probably needs a fight-of-flright reaction to wake up, like him getting cancelled or having photos of his kids on twitter.
What I hypothetize watching to him (and other veterans of CG) is that, to them, getting a monthly comicbook each month probably means they were not killed, a way to keep their sanity.
To 2017 Zack, not having a new Marvel comic to read every month was equal to dying in some part of his brain. And his channel had gone to all 5 stages of grief and currently reaching acceptance.
It started with denial "I am not racist, your comics suck", to anger "Portland Mafia ruins comics" to bargaining "if only woke fake geek girls get fired then..." and we had a lot of long months of depression.
At this point, it feels like he is reaching acceptance that comics are dead and cannot be a TUG and pretend to be outraged for youtube shekkels.
But then again, I may not be a mental health professional so it is down to you.
