Seems this is a Fandom Menace thread now.
Oh well. Content is content and this is all pretty entertaining.
It's fucking bizarre that Jeremy and the gang were too stupid to see this coming after how they go on and on about wokeness, but I guess they were so hungry for validation that they didn't notice
Let's be real about the whole charity thing.
There are really only 2 reasons to get involved in a charitable cause. The first is because you care deeply about the cause. I can believe Snyder does because of his daughter but I'm not buying it for anyone else concerned really.
The second reason is because there is something in it for them. A payed position, a free trip or perhaps
love and adoration from people who otherwise wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.
Does anyone doubt this was why the suicide charity angle was done? This was clout chasing to the core and the bonus is that the clout chasers get to say they did something good and actually feel virtuous at the end of it all. We've seen this before in ComicsGate and in TFM and it rings disingenuous and insincere every single time. Frog put it succinctly,
"It was a nice opportunity for a moment of glory that would have been shared all over the internet and made him (Jeremy) a hero."
Snyder fucked that up for Jeremy and his crew. Of course he recognized naked clout chasing and virtue signaling immediately. Snyder lives and works in the clout and virtue chasing capital of the whole planet.
"Zach, we raised what you spend on your winter landscaping bill for a charity you like. Now you owe us. Come on a stream and give us clout." Zach could probably cover their donation himself out of the streaming residuals and TV rights from 300 this month and now he has to play nice with a bunch of spergs trying to borrow shine off him because it's a slow week for Star Wars outrage.
The classy thing to do would be to
not come on stream at all or to do the stream and hand over the clout
(money was raised for a good cause after all) but apparently Zack was short on class the other day and was probably getting pressured by his publicist not to torpedo his career for a group of "literal who" edgy outrage merchant clout chasers when his magnum opus or whatever is coming out.
Fuck 'em. The disingenuous retards can eat it.
And eat it they did. What a bunch of cucks. Someone from the Hollywood establishment finally comes on a stream with them and they're falling all over themselves trying to excuse him shitting on their leader because they still think there is clout to be gained from sharing a YouTube screen with a big budget director.
I can't blame Snyder for that.

It's not like they're actually good people.
And then all the cope after.
Brilliant.
In a way
@FROG is not 100% grifter. Like many boomer fanboys he discovered outrage gets you money but never went down the rabbithole of running after the outrage of the day like The Quartering or Grifts and Gaymers
Frog saw his greatest channel growth doing outrage of the day vids about The Last Jedi and Captain Marvel.
All of these YouTubers are the same. "Fuck Disney and Lucas Film!!!! ...... Check out the sooper cool $600 Jaba the Hutt doll I bought with your money."
The people who follow any of these clowns deserve to be suckered out of their money by basement dwelling neck bearded outrage merchants.
This is the way.
You can't polish a turd, and you can't chop it up and rearrange the pieces so it becomes something other than a turd.
It was Whedon who chopped up re-shot and made a turd of the movie. The Snyder Cut is supposed to be the original (hopefully coherent) vision.
Haven't watched it yet (and WB won't get a cent if I do) but it can't be worse than what the studio payed Joss to do.
Frankly, I really like streaming alone. I actually had fun stream sniping G+G last night.
You seemed to at the beginning when you were stream-sniping, not so much when he actually showed up to yours though.
It's easier to shit on your
"friends" when you aren't face to face with them. Otherwise things can get awkward.
I doubt that it will, but expressing that thought by saying that his movie is not going to stop you from killing Chinese people was ill advised, in light of recent events.
For as inelegant as Ethan was, Jon Malin jumping in with, "we haven't killed enough," was a room temperature IQ take.
People should have the right to say whatever the Hell they want to on YouTube or any other platform.
But they don't.
These "jokes" were not only not funny but were colossally stupid given what people get their toys taken away for these days. Ethan's comment was stupid but Malin's comment was pure bait to the censors over at Alphabet.
Morons.
