I was looking at figures for various CG related campaigns and when I got to Anna's Vampirella cover I saw that it has yet to be fulfilled for some reason.

Simple fix. Show more cleavage on stream. That will buy her another couple of months of white knighting and calls for patience.

I wish I was being hyperbolic.

And none of them look like they'd be allowed within five hundred meters of an elementary school.
Ah, but one thing you can definitely say for them, is that they're trouncing the even-more-pedo-looking Comicsgate(TM) crew!

Lineup:

These guys were rocking a viewership of 6, presumably comprised of the four streamers plus a mod and a single audience member - the number rising to 7 when I went in to take the screenshot.

Creepy and failures, no arguments here

Unless and until Preston and John sue Dean (which I suppose would be legitimately big news), or one or both of them get arrested, they can fuck off and die.

There's a lot of people I can make fun of, but there is some shit and people I just can't find funny.

I'll gladly take my MATI ratings on this one. Fuck Poulter and Lamont.

Well this is confusing - Coach Malin has always advised the CG younglings that drawing streams do terribly on Youtube (and presumably that JACK show type antics are the way to go)

But then how is Proko pulling in well over a thousand live viewers for a literal doodling stream??
People respect Proko's technical ability because his whole model is built around instruction.

Only simps want to learn how to draw from a Leifeld knock off. Malin should stick with his strengths; smoking a bowl and streaming with his drunk JACK off friends.

SMiller and Doug also have/had channels solely dedicated to art. At least Doug did until his two other channels got nuked. They didn’t get as many views as their other stuff. I guess it’s all about the crowd you attract when you first brand yourself. CG and art streams don’t really mix and have two totally different audiences.
I used to check out the hated Tennaple's drawing streams. He knew what he was doing. He usually had on a guest or two who could talk and he always had something interesting to talk about even when he didn't have guests. It was also interesting to watch his process and because his style isn't heavily rendered you saw a lot of progress and he often finished inking a page in a single stream.

Just sitting and drawing while trying to read the chat is pure boredom itself.

Another way of looking at the engagement/investment question is David Finch. He pretty much started regular Youtubing one year ago, and he's already caught up to Frog in sub count:
It's fairly easy to sort out why if you pay close attention.

EDIT:
Question for the artist @FROG: Why is the building Batman is standing on at the bottom of a well?

This is magical from a company that specializes in producing alternate cover comics.

Midnight Edge used to be interesting, but they went into podcasts
I mentally filter out TFM videos that are over 20 minutes long, because those are usually streams, so I especially feel blueballed when I see a ME upload and it's just a 10 minute clip from a stream.

2. Is friends with Liam? And makes shit comics? (I'm choosing to trust @Unverified on that)
Trust me bro

Source: dude trust me
4. No idea, looks similar to top and bottom guy
Jason Bascom, creator of ABSOLUTE Book 1 and Book 2. The former being a book that I backed, read, and forgot about. Honestly, it's a bit concerning how little memory I have of that book. I was beginning to question if I even read it, but I know I did. I looked through the IGG and only a couple of pages looked even remotely familiar. I know I read this book... I'm sure of it!! Anyways, take that as you will in regards to its quality. I can't even trash it per se, as I don't remember a single detail about it. I'll have to dig through my books and give it another read.

Interesting how few viewers Malin's CG Presents tends to get. Given that Malin is the de facto second-in-command of CG and his platform should theoretically be the second largest for shilling your comics. So, is it that most people in CG really don't give a shit about backing indie books and just want to tune for humor and personality (of which Malin provides neither)? Who knows.

Does percentage engagement really mean anything, though? I guess it does for CG, with its business model of gouging an audience of ignorant mental defectives. But in general terms, aren't the raw numbers what matter most? Proko is an interesting one to compare to Jeremy of Dumb & Dumber, since they've both built websites around 'muh brand' while building Youtube channels for promotion. Proko is doing better though, because he has a purpose to him, whereas Jeremy's brand seems to have no real point to it other than it being his brand that he can say is his brand.
Well yes, engagement does matter in this scenario. You can't really point at a guy with 2.2 million subs who can only pull in 1k viewers for his drawstream and say look at how well he's doing when Malin can pull in roughly that amount as well. If anything Malin comes out looking better in that comparison because he only has 8.36k subs.

That said, Proko is an art channel with 2.2 millions subs. so there clearly is an audience for people who just want to see people draw shit.

Eh, Anna will be fine, she just did the cover. All that ire will be aimed at Dynamite who seem to be unable to mail out a comic that was already finished. I really don't know how they're fucking that up when they just have to swap covers for an already completed book.

Engagement percentage doesn't matter. Proko is 'only' pulling in 1200 viewers for a lazy doodlestream, while Malin draws less than a sixth of that for his main Comicsgate Presents shillshow.

Hence percentage engagement being a cope stat for CG - as if having 2.2 million subs is a bad thing! Maybe not all 2.2 million want to watch a lazy doodlestream live? So really my point is, looking at engagement and saying oh, look how bad the engagement percentage is, sounds rather a lot like CG copium.

I mean, shouldn't Malin's pathetic sub count be a cause of great shame? Not something to wrangle statistically into him being the little Comicsgate engine that could.

Proko just doesn't stream, he has a lot of tutorial vids as well which may be a bigger draw for people looking to learn.
