I'm not even trying to defend Narwhal. He just tried to use the fact that he doesn't like his style as an argument for something irrelevant.
His style is objectively shit, made all the worse by the color choice Richard wants. It is absolutely relevant when his patron/idea guy or whatever spent years ripping on art that is around that same level of quality.

It comes off as disingenuous.

I find her a lot more worthy of laughing at than "hurr duuur, Ethan is a faggot" for the 89,997th time.

This past week has been a riot. I haven't had this much fun since Preston's cuck porn.
It's also amusing because it now perfectly explains why she uses fat girl angle shots so often for her videos.

Also that desperation to tear down people more relevant than her and flipping out over not placing in the top 10 in a poll is great.

Those are astonishingly good sales numbers, considering what a bunch of boring bastards with shit comics on a shit stream they all are* (*imho)
True, but a spot on Jon Malin's Comicsgate Presents is not quite as good going on Michael Bancroft's show that can raise $2400 for guests closing out on their campaign like Anthony Figaro's Justice City Chronicles or $3420 for Star Circuit vs the $910 for similar closeouts of campaigns like Bascom's Absolute.

Michael Bancroft quietly passing Jon Malin as the main benefactor of smaller Comicsgate projects is one of the more subtle shifts that's been happening over the course of 2021, as one of the leaders of the emerging of what I like to term "Comicsgate bourgeois" that is starting to form in the ideological vacuum left in the aftermath of 2020.

Speaking of the landwhale being more appropriate to laugh at than @FROG...

She is COMPLETELY losing her shit on Twitter right now towards EVS.

Then... ALL CAPS NUCLEAR EXPLOSION!

I don't think there's archives, because she deleted them PDQ. I JUST managed to snag caps of these before she did. The last one is from a Discord.

EDIT:

God bless JAZZ CRAB. He managed to get an archive snapshot of the last one:

You mean this one?

Same fucking faildox. He, or or one of his retard cohorts, just did a copypasta here.

Most of those pictures are of her sister. Note that there are two clearly different women.

Frankly, that post should be edited/deleted for QA purposes, and @This_is_a_Throwaway permabanned. Faildox is sin around here. Just like when WC did it in this thread.

Meh. Look, this is getting ridiculous.

I unironically think I can draw as good or better than Narwhal did in 499.

And I am shit. Total shit. Like I can't draw a straight line..

...but neither can Narwhal.

The bar has been set that low.

Just trace over porno ala Greg Land...

I feel like stuff is slipping through the cracks.

One of the problems with Comicsgate is that it's cows are anti-charismatic black holes that attract worse spergs that make them look better only by comparison.

Sure, next to TUG (who Ethan is totes in with) or Mecha do these guys look less weird.

Some CG updates.

* Simping Zach (who has three children from different women none of whom he is raising or even lives near) put out a video announcing Jawbreakers will be published by Ethan.

*Essentially Frog is getting Richard to write Jawbreakers, one a year with two side stories, and Ethan will find artists to draw them. The video is two minutes in length and feels fairly unenthused.

Ethan put out a snore stream.

* Comicsgate official high sparrow Cecil attends at the 21 minute mark. After a boring hour of click bait with Rian Johnson and Marvel nonsense, possibly the only person less interesting than Cecil ie Shane Davis appears.

* Ethan at the 1:35 decides to do another victory lap from MechaRandoms complete meltdown clipped here from the Farms. Ethan proceeds to describe a situation he doesn't really understand. He calls them Tom's hangers on. They're purse puppies.

* Cecil boringly regurgitates the past events in as boring a way as possible. J Scott Campbell and Zach Snyder stabbed fans in the back!!!

* Finally, Ethan gets to the (Maybe) demise of DC comics at around 2:25 mark. They make fun of Rich Johnstons mocked up logo. At the 2:36 Ethan plays a cringy video from back in the day lionizing Richard's boomer spergery on Twitter. They turn to discussing Ethan's cancelation.

* Around the 3:00 mark Kyle Ritter appears, but doesn't show his cock. Ritter's sterling commentary does light up the stream.

An unbelievably worthless stream.

On that whole Nassar/Mecha stream. Ethan and company seem to be dancing around it. Yes, they are canceling her. It's like listening to people call cancel culture consequence culture. They initially kicked her for being racy. Her subsequent spergery has given people something to latch onto because some people seem intent on finding good guys and bad guys in everything.

But let's call a spade a spade. The Fandom Rejects wanted to appease Snyder Bronies and Hollyweird. They kicked their purse puppy, who surprise! Was a mentally ill weirdo. Yes she was canceled and yes she's a crazy bitch.

The faggy testicle and the simping bearded tard have learned nothing from this. They went right back out and found more purse puppies.

Gary is in charge, LOL!!!

I mentioned it once before but many months ago Nerdrotic did a special Saturday livestream in response to reaching 100k subs or something where he laid bare his backstory, substance problems, time spent in prison, how he lost his shop, etc, and then immediately privated it. He goes to AA meetings almost every day, I think he said sometimes twice a day. I have a hard time believing anyone would give him another expensive shot at running anything. I wish I had recorded it.

I remember that image was the one Donal accused him of swiping from Madureira, and then I believe Donal was told to shut up and go away, and so he did. @Fathead clarify if I'm wrong!

Now this would be a worthwhile read for sure, I'm honestly not very familiar with Bancroft. @VIkkiVerse said he was boring and then when I checked him out, my immediate thoughts were, Vikki was right. But maybe I should give him another chance, I've possibly had him down incorrectly as even more boring than Malin.

I dunno if I'd call the equivalent of "fuck off dumb SJW bitch" to be part of cancel culture, but okay...

I would consider her absolutely insufferable if she were in my group.

Me? I'm just gonna keep laughing my ass off at her as this Chernoybl tier meltdown continues. There is nothing Frog has said about her that I disagree with. He's sounding exactly like most Kiwi's sound like.

He mentions several to all of these things on almost every stream he does. I genuinely don't hate Gary but he talks about the fact that he fucked his life up like some people talk about Crossfit or the way Tim Pool mentions skateboarding on the south side of Chicago. I appreciate a redemption arc as much as anybody else, but these hard cases that get sucked into the AA mindset of being powerless over their problems are just weirdly pathetic.

Gary has a nice life, a family, a room full of toys, and a successful YouTube channel with lots of fans and probably a very decent income from just bullshitting about pop culture. Sadly, he'll never think of himself as anything but an addict because that's what that "treatment" does to you. You're never recovered, you're always "in recovery". I guess being addicted to meetings is better than being addicted to smack but still...enjoy your life Gary. Stop identifying as a piece of shit.

I'd describe Bancroft as having a very stolid, conservative personality and his show consists of half his panel verbally ruminating over some attention grabbing topic that comes into his head like "Comicsgate crowdfunding on Kickstarter?" and half showcasing a creator guests' product. Most people would consider it boring due to the absence of drama or lack of interest of running a clown show.

What does work in Bancroft's favor though, as far as I can tell, is that he's very consistent in producing regular content, he keeps his program to an hour in length, at least tries to have a topic and runs his content is a more sustainable format than more drama-oriented shows. Even if it's Bancroft squinting at the chat every 45 seconds as his panel goes over "COMICSGATE ON NEWSPRINT? YES OR NO", the worst case is it only goes on for an hour and avoids the pitfalls of the interminable CG "chillstreams". He's also managed to build an audience that's at least passionate about Comicsgate and buying comics and most importantly established himself as a place for people interested in possibly backing a CG project to go.

Generally, I'd describe the man a prominent example of the growing "bourgeois" of mid-tier Comicsgaters who were underfoot during the struggles between the big players of yesteryear and can be described as conservative (in the 'resistant to change' definition) and mostly interested in discussing practical matters like optimal business practices, what to avoid, trends in the indie comic industry and very cautious in venturing anything beyond that.

Clint "Sweetcast" Stoker is so boring that merely mentioning in the farms is blasphemy, but he has solid crowdfunding successes and growth.
@NasserRabadi13 is a borecow and has fullfilled each and every book he funded.
Boring is not bad for business, it is bad for growth on youtube.
CG, contrary to FM, is a dual platform of youtubers producing comics, so you can profit from either. This is something EVS and Mallin have accompliced, to have dual streams of income complementing eachother.

It is not cancel culture. EVS has told nobody to unsub from MR42 or deplatform her, nor he started campaigns to do so (probably he is on backchannels though) but he is very publicly venting about it on youtube.
This is youtube cannibalism at its best: in commentary communities (especially those running on outrage) you are swimming among sharks and the moment you bleed you are eaten alive.
Mecha started drama and finds herself devoured and, by god, there is plenty to eat there...

I dunno if I'd call the equivalent of "fuck off dumb SJW bitch" to be part of cancel culture, but okay...

Okay.

They all got together in DMs and said 'don't let dumb bitch in the clubhouse anymore.'

How CG people got cancelled.

'Don't let the asshole in the clubhouse anymore.'

I would consider her absolutely insufferable if she were in my group.

Then why bring her in the first place? Because like the SJW appeasers they are, these fucks wanted to virtue signal with purse puppies.

It is not cancel culture.

Sure it's not. :smug:

Wasn't really talking about Frog doing it, but defending it as something else.

Tom, Gary, etc were all excluding her for the joke, not initially for being an 'SJW bitch''. That meltdown happened later.

These guys let her in, then when things got hot pussed out. Fuck 'em.

Mecha started drama and finds herself devoured and, by god, there is plenty to eat there...

There is. So why just focus on the land whale and her cake?

To me, cancel culture is where you go after somebody's ability to put food on the table. Where you generally try to ruin their entire life. That's what SJWs do. Not where you ridicule somebody, or kick them out of the small slice of the Internet you have control of. You are downplaying the profound damage cancel culture can have on somebody.

By your logic, Null is "cancelling" somebody here when he says "Fuck off retard" and drops the ban hammer. Which I have seen him do. Mostly to people that are, in fact, retarded.

The dislike for EVS sometimes causes people to say some really irrational shit in this thread. It's like you want to tag him with hypocrisy on this so badly that you're going to resort to some truly impressive mental gymnastics to do it.

In fact, Mecha was the one screeching about "cancellation" before EVS even took notice of this shit show. Please do not feed the landwhale. I assure you, her delusions will persist without any outside help. Much to our collective amusement.

As for reputational damage to Mecha, she is inflicting that on herself. This would die down eventually if she would just SHUT THE FUCK UP.

I did sense he wasn't a drama guy or an outrage clickbaiter, but actually for me personally the thing that made him boring was the social hangout aspect, like endless introductory helloes to people in the chat and just a general feeling I was watching some people hanging out and chitchatting. In fact I felt a little clickbaited by his interesting titles! Funnily enough I think the one I watched was called something like 'Cracking the Fandom Menace Nut' (referring to a commercial/business 'nut', not Mecharandom42). I watched that but I came away feeling like they never really got into it in any substantial way. But if you have any of his shows that you would recommend, I'd be interested in giving him another try. He does seem normal at least! @FROG you were bang out of order calling him weird last night, he's normal not weird dummy. Liam is weird!

And speaking of red-haired land whales...

Somebody tell her that Frog called her a clown-haired pig too! Go on, someone try and tell her that with a straight face. Let's get Frog in more trouble!
