I don’t know much about Zach, but he seems to have too many irons in the fire to manage all of them efficiently. I didn’t see the video he put out, but I thought the IGG email update kind of shot himself in the foot.

Makes me wonder if he isn't going to "no refunds, lol" cancel some of his late projects because you were not guaranteed to get anything either way?

Sounds like it's a possibility to him now.

Even when EVS is late, he never starts saying shit like this. Even if it wasn't YBZs intention, it is just a dumb thing to say because it immediately tanks any faith anyone but your diehard fanboys will have in you being serious about these projects.

And looking at Knifehands numbers....I'm not really sure his hardcore fanboys can keep him afloat.
 
Zack said he launched the campaign because new people want to buy stuff from him. Is there a reason he can't just eBay shit like EVS does? Also that line about "it's about funding the process, and the book is like a reward that you technically not own" is so mind-numbingly... (I can't even find the words).

Whether he means to or not, he IS abusing the trust of his backers. He IS failing to give them the products they paid for. He IS trying to justify his failures and he IS leaving many people concerned, frustrated and out of pocket. Every day he fails to deliver on what he campaigned for, is another day that the comic crowdfunding model loos like an even worse option for fans than the mainstream rubbish.

If it looks like a scam, walks like a scam and quacks like a scam, then it is simply a fucking scam. Zacks intentions count for nothing at this point. People who have nothing to show 18 months after paying are feeling just as bad as those who are victim to proven frauds in crowdfunding. The effect upon the customer is the same, whether you think simpleton Zack is genuine or not.

I cannot tell at this point whether Zack is the Davod Korresh of alt comics, cynically preying upon disillusioned and disenchanted comics fans with a shrewd, slow-burning scam to fleece money from converts who believe he is the second coming of anti-SJW Christ; or if instead he is akin to the mad guy from the film ‘Network’ - an unintentional radical who everyone thought would show us the true way via his self-produced content, only to discover the guy is simply a crazy basket case.

Zack is a cunt. Anyone who makes excuses/apologies for him can be thus filed similarly.

JSG is not a concervative but a libertarian and will probably call out both sides when stupid.

Also, he often talks about sexual abuse of young boys and from what I understand (and he has said in previous videos) somebody close to him was sexually abused as a boy.

As for the cuties situation, his videos were quite good - a lot of the backlash was because of how sexualized the netflix ad was (because the US have very bad takes over sex compared to Europe) promoting a French movie that wanted to be edgy (and France has a history of provocative or extreme movies like, for instance, Irreversible or Martyrs) but did so in a way that was too much for a lot of conservative audiences.
Now, I have not watched the movie to say if it is as bad as people assume.

But does anyone find it funny how he hasn't done a single one of his stories that he used to talk about wanting to do but not having time back in the Godking days? IIRC he had some idea about a story where a bunch of prisoners followed a regiment and got super powers or something? I feel like there was some other one that would get mentioned back in the days where he would actually do livestreams with EVS.

Instead he's putting shit out like Pandemic, No, Rock and Roll Ninja and 499?
