Hot chicks aren't used to needing either quality. Add the internet and they turn into thots.
I'll give Anna a bit of credit for not going full e-thot. Her tits stay in her shirt and she doesn't go out of her way to present herself as a fuck toy. Like Frog said, she's pretty gross at times and other times she's not even on camera. Of course, this doesn't stop her from attracting simps and nothing really would; MechaRandom is a loud, fat tub of shit and even she has simps and white knights.

Anna's just kind of a dull normie who really thinks she's some kind of "nerd" for liking one of the most popular franchises in pop culture history. Like many of her male counterparts, she has a room full of stupid merch she uses as a backdrop and as cred so we can see that she totally likes Star Wars, guise.

In any case, she's boring and doesn't add anything to the streams she's on. At least Witten can get a genuine reaction, even if it's absolute disgust.

To be honest I usually turn off any stream when Anna comes on. Chat turns into simps and she's a bit of a idiot. Also starts a lot of pointless arguments. Kinda glad that she took Mecha's side over Midnight's Edge so she no longer turns up there. I can't be the only one to feel this way as I notice Gary never has her on.

YBZ showing off the covers. Reminded me that I was such a fan that I backed his cover. Imagine the regret I now feel. PFP very fitting for me right now.

YBZ was involved in The Expendables Go to Hell?

Been waiting ages for that comic to finally drop.

She does have a personality. She's fun. But she streams a lot and says what she has to say on her own streams. If you have her on, it's going to be your obligation to engage her in a way to get good stuff from her.
That's how it is with most guests on a stream. When it's on a certain person's channel, that host has to do things/say things/have topics lined up to get certain kinds of engagement from the guests.

I forgot who said it, but somebody told me before that they think me and @TheCosmicWarrior have better conversations on Jon's channel rather than when Jon is on mine. That's because when somebody runs the show they are directing how things go.

I think I have unsubscribed to most TFM channels/Gary minion channels. The lot of them feels like a bad parody. IF they are the counter to woke shit in geek entertainment, its embarrassing. Hollywood if they cared would laugh at these fuckers. I keep up with some Comicsgate channels stuff because there is possible product and I feel critique of comics is more credible than TFM's MCU critiques. There was never a singular moment like Last Jedi in MCU and it all feels like play acting with them. They'd have nothing NOTHING to talk about without Disney providing them hate-watching content.

I can see that being the case if your guest is there infrequently and is invited to specifically talk about a certain subject or has a book to plug. That's basic talk show host shit. The difference here is that Anna appears regularly on other channels including her weekly JACK gig. I don't think her being utterly boring and walking away to pop a zit or get another family size bag of Skittles or just zoning out for an hour should be anyone's responsibility but hers.

She doesn't have anything to plug. She doesn't make or read comics and doesn't really give a shit about them. Her presence on channels that are ostensibly centered on comics and comic book culture is confounding. She doesn't even have any hot takes that can get the chat riled up. The extent of her engagement with any given show seems to be when Cecil makes a thousand gay jokes about wanting to suck her boyfriend off, and the jokes are now only gay in the sense that they're lame and unfunny and she won't even let Cecil go that far on her own channel because she's scared it will mess up her YouTube money.

She's the beneficiary of pretty privilege. If MechaRandom was on these same channels with the same frequency doing the same shit Anna does and being just as unengaging, she wouldn't have lasted this long because absolutely nobody would want to watch a stream of a fat hog popping zits, eating candy, and talking about her sexual attraction to Henry Cavill.

I don't follow anyone but Ethan and YBZ still. And YBZ is just to hopefully get some kind of update on WTF is going on with the books, his actual content has gone to dogshit.

The rest I just wait to see people mention on here. Especially TFM shit. It's all so fucking boring and meandering and the same old shit. Star Wars bad, Disney bad, socjus ruining nerd shit, we still giving them money tho, Mah brand, blah blah blah like we fucking get it. I liked Nerdrotic. Gary seems like an okay guy, especially when you hear about him overcoming his drug shit, but his streams are just so fucking boring it's sad. Or not, I guess the dudes making money so whatever.

Edit: Wait, I watch Eric July too, but at this point it's more for his libertarian stuff. I honestly forget his connection to Geeks and Gamers/CG/TFM a lot of the time.

Interesting people will be interesting regardless of where they are. The host and the structure of the stream are factors, sure, but show me a stream where someone like Dan Fraga is boring or has nothing to say. Claiming that it's the host's responsibility to get something compelling out of a girl who livestreams and makes YouTube content for a living is asinine and Ethan knows he's spouting bullshit. Ethan himself goes on other streams fairly often and will bring up topics for people to discuss and will chime in on basically anything. All signs point to the fact that Anna is just a bad guest and disinterested in most streams. She also DOES NOT care at all about entertaining an audience. She literally only wants to talk about herself and her interests. She doesn't care that no one wants to see people getting their infected toenails shaved off and she'll gladly drive away a third of the audience because isn't it just so quirky and charming that she likes gross stuff?? xD

Come on, people.

At the risk of dating myself, I remember when Letterman used to have the late Charles Grodin on his show regularly, even if Grodin didn't have anything to promote. Grodin would come on Letterman's show and take this persona of an uninterested prick that wouldn't engage with Dave the way Dave wanted him to and it was almost antagonistic but it was hilarious.

The two played off each other so well that Grodin came back over and over to "spar" with Letterman for years. His personality was enough to keep him in regular rotation on a show that routinely got A-list stars who were nowhere near as engaging as a guy that just acted like a dick. Letterman would toss him some softball question and Grodin would give him a one word answer and the audience would love it. He didn't need to tailor anything about his approach to get a good, funny appearance from a guy that wasn't even a comedian, he just knew how to interact with the host.

Anna going on these streams and sitting there like a bored middle schooler is a waste of the host's time. Nobody should have to come up with new and exciting ways to try and get her attention or her opinion. I don't fault her for being primarily interested in the money that comes with these streams, but the least she could do is try to let her hosts make some money by being somewhat engaging. People should be asking her on these panels because she has something to add. Even if what she adds is a pretty face, it does no good when she leaves the room or doesn't bother to turn on her camera. It's like the one thing she's consistently good for, she's not good at.

I think CG is missing a good heel like this. Ethan and Jon always say SMiller was a good heel, though I never shared that opinion. But it does get dull with everyone just agreeing and having the safe take on everything. Not that people should disagree for the sake of it, but a little devil's advocate once in a while could be nice. Hell, I'd replace Anna with some dipshit like Dan Shahin in a heartbeat. He's a dumb little weasel, but at least he brings a different perspective to the show and provokes some good reactions from Ethan.

Yep, this is how Jon Malin is. He's excellent to work with on a livestream. He's a sharp-witted troublemaker, and understands what I'm doing and counters it in a very entertaining way.

Most of the supposed Fandom Menace basically make the same videos about whatever daft topic of the week they find going on about how awful it all is. I started watching Frog back in his drawing comics days. Thing I always liked about his streams when the world ended was how upbeat he always was. Tended to be entertaining too. I worked in a comic shop years ago so still have a attachment even though it's pretty much dead now. Critical Drinker I like as he tends to have streams about films he liked and can actually be quite positive for a drunk Scotsman. Obviously doesn't watch Soccer. I agree about Gary. Seems a really decent guy but recent streams tend to be morons throwing 100 dollar bills at him like the cheap stripper he is. I used to enjoy his comic streams. And even his Doctor Who ones with that mad Irish guy. Of course for true entertainment you can't beat Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers and 3 or 4 other lads in their 40's talking for about 25 minutes about their amazing streams where they play Mario Kart. That alone is worth paying 10 dollars a month for.

Man, this just goes to show how fucking horrible of a job YBZ did at marketing this shit. Holy fuck.
Does it? He talked about it a lot when the campaign was new, and he mentions it, albeit briefly, every time he does one of those quick run-throughs of his active campaigns in his screen-capture videos. I'm more curious how @Boston Brand could have not noticed this unless they're new to this whole CG thing (I'm sure many "normie" Expendables fans have no idea who Meyer is, and that's okay).

When he's not veering too far into tryhard edgelord territory with said counters, sure. He gets an occasional chuckle out of me when he gives a curt and unexpected response to something. Not really in that same vein of being humorously antagonistic, though.

He barely promoted it at all when the campaign was active a year and a half ago. It was one of the first indicators he was losing it. He talked about it before his videos, but he did absolutely no promotion on other channels/livestreams at all. The most cross promotion there was was with EVS doing livestreams promoting it IIRC, and I'm not even sure if Zach was around for most of them.

Now we find out that people who are finding out about it don't even know Zach is involved?

Yeah, its a good indication he did horrible marketing/promotion.

Admittedly, very much the latter camp.
