Charisma and delivery.

As much as I hate Zack Snyder, i was pretty happy that the fans got a chance to see the movie they wanted. Mostly because i thought the whole point of entertainment was to entertain the audience. If your audience is already a fandom then you know they already want more of what you're doing.

If people have to pay extra premiums and wait for comic book creators to create and fulfill their obligations, they will. People spend a ton of money for things on ETSY.com that take a long time to be fulfilled. Why would comics be any different? Wire wrapped gems and herbal tinctures are niche too.
Yes comics are niche. That's something you, the SJWs, the flash in the pan MCU/DC fans, and the "comic pros" working for the big companies are learning again.

Comics were always niche, and the concept of making 10 to 100x the money off a movie adaptation or tv adaptation swallowed everything up.
I can't wait to see the next five years of what happens. What will you do if you're right? What will you do if you're wrong?

Either way it seems if you're a comic fan you lose. if you're right then CG falls apart and the comic industry is just a bunch of youth novels written by blue haired women angry at the patriarchy for oppressing them while paying them in exposure.
If you're wrong you look like a massive fool, crapping on the new rising business the same way that disbelievers of crypto watched their friends become rich by waiting on a bitcoin wallet to accrue value.

The funniest part is that someone like Cecil can come in and be a joke artist, and earn almost as much money in one auction as Mags Visaggio NEEDS from a gofundme, while *giving nothing in return*.

Let's get back to square one. The whole point of this is the industry is dead, the audience is niche, and CG is catering to them. End of.

In the past four weeks the number of Comicsgate books listed on creatorgo rose from 117 to 129, not including the listed failures below.   • FROG's 1st Wave CYBERFROG Action Figures campaign was funded within it's first 30 days and was extended by another month, to date the campaign has raised $469,741 from 2,385 backers.
  • FROG also launched his CYBERFROG: BLOODHONEY BOX campaign featuring another version of Cyberfrog with new lettering, new variant covers and a magnetic collectors box similar to the Honeycomb box offered on the Rekt Planet campaign. The campaign currently sits at $98,896 from 773 backers with just over three weeks remaining on the campaign.
  • Billy Tucci launched his SHI: OMNIBUS EDITION VOL.1 INDIEGOGO EXCLUSIVE campaign collecting 488 pages of 90s Shi comics. The campaign has raised $104,141 from 972 backers with just over a week remaining.
  • Narwhal's Earthbound Part 2, the sequel to Earthbound, was funded and sits at $67,327 from 1,010 backers.
  • Jon Malin launched his Project Thundaar project titled GODLIKE - THE ROMULUS SAGA which has currently raised $128,917 from 1,198 backers, with just under three weeks remaining.
  • Clint Stoker's DOWNCAST 3: Submerged was funded and sits at $44,065 from 770 backers.
  • Ya Boi Zack posted an update on his THE EXPENDABLES GO TO HELL campaign announcing that the print file was complete and the next step was printing the overdue book.

The only piece of twitter drama comes from PEREGRINE co-creator Piper who tweeted out a response to TESTEFY-HD's posting of private DMs to the thread here. Piper first implied that the DMs were fake or photoshopped and that the people she talked to in DMs would have the integrity not to do that.


After inspecting the DM's herself, Piper quickly realized that the DM's were authentic and were leaked by fellow creator Ron Christian / HEROGEEK who was the other person in the conversation.


In a follow up tweet Piper would implicate THE COLOSSALS creator and fellow Etsy Boy CiderHype as the one who passed the DMs along to TESTEFY-HD as proof of a backroom Whisper Network existing within the lower levels of Comicsgate.


FROM YOUTUBE
FROG streamed on the latest comic book news that Tim Drake was now bisexual.

The review team at F Off Well Read reviewed Narwhal and Zack collaboration 499.

Yellowflash reported on the Suicide Squad movie numbers on HBO max.

While Razorfist reported on the disappointment that was Black Widow and theorizes that the comic book movie genre is nearing its end.

The Comic Book Hut posted a clip from a recent debate between Vaush and Doug TenNapel, where the dirtworm BTFO'd the breadtuber on the chicks with dicks topic.

After his previous takedown of Forced Adversity fellow kiwi COMMI3 MARK decided to step into the arena once again, this time to do battle with The Serf Times.

FROG also joined Nick Rekieta to talk about the Comicsgate™ and a variety of other topics. Some kind individual timestamped the stream in the comments section.

That's our Comicsgate News Update for this morning, it took nearly a month to write up an update with things worth talking about. Comicsgate has become rather quiet and uninteresting compared to other topics on the farms and I've been distracted with the latest Chris Chan and Isabella Janke news which has engulfed the site. There was of course a series of streams involving Liam Gray which I may write up at a later date, unless Mister Dongs wishes to beat me to it.
