i am not an ethan defender, but he called those guys zeroes cause all they do is talk and everyone knows what they gonna say and bitch about. Even i found it interesting at first, but after 3 or 4 years its just stupid. You can guess years in advance that they will hate a marvel movie, star trek show or whatever. Also, all this talk about fighting the culture war, while all they do is watch comic book stuff and give money to those companies, that hate them. I have no idea how anyone can even respect G&G after what daddy Snyder did to them. That was like a funeral. Anyway, you can have just one guy on the FNT and it will be the same as it is with 8 of them, as all of them have the same opinion. They are the same as the guys they talk shit about.

Poor Aaron Lopresti looked completely lost, deer in the headlights/these crazy kids and their interwebz, didn't he? The most interaction was when his wife was shouting about stuff, off-camera. Beyond that, eh, @FROG doesn't stream every Friday, doesn't make streaming his channel's main thing and doesn't sperg out on every topic under the sun, from Game of Thrones to Doctor Who to He-Man. Just under a thousand viewers strikes me as a very respectable turn out. Gotta give credit where it is due.
Noticed that Doomcock was also streaming at the same time as these guys, to about 250 people. I guess he doesn't post his streams, I can't find anything to link to. Kind of looks like he does this every Friday as well. Anyhoo, I guess that makes @FROG four time bigger than OverlordDVD by that logic.

Streaming is totally Frog's main thing, you can't get him off them. I think he streamed every day this week!
Was Doomcock actually trying to make a show, or was he just getting drunk and singing? That's what his streams usually are, singing, drinking, shooting the shit with his chat. Doing impressions of William Shatner. If he got 250 people, unadvertised, against Frog and FNT, that's pretty good considering it's just him on his own. I personally would have gone straight onto the Doomock stream had I known it was going.
I only brought FNT up here because @FROG said on the stream itself that he was doing well against FNT. So then I looked up the numbers and I was like, wow, Frog must be delusional or something, his allegedly non-zero crew is getting trounced by the zeroes crew.

Doomcock does a show every Friday called Friday Night Frolics. That is why he was never on FNT in the past and why he an Gary did a show on Sundays.

I don't mind streaming against FNT. My shows usually get 1200 viewers, but on Friday evenings, forget about it. Maybe 600-700. My show is me railing about the dying mainstream comics industry and promoting indie comics. Theirs is about STAR WARS and DR WHO and topics with much broader appeal.
This is only a concern to me when the purpose of my show is to help someone either launch or close a campaign. I tell CGers not to launch on Friday evenings, but closing happens when it happens, 30 days after launch. So Billy Tucci needed me to help him close out the SHI OMNIBUS last night, and I was a little worried that we wouldn't have the audience we needed.
It turned out okay though, FNT had a relatively small night (they can often top 7000 viewers) and we did better than expected. According to YouTube, we hit 1085 viewers and the ten or twelve campaigns I was promoting ALL made money.
We had a good night!

I'm willing to give him a mulligan on that one. Would the funnybooks get out the door quicker if he didn't do it so much? Probably. But would he sell as many if he did not stream as much as he does? Probably not.
I'm afraid I'm 180° different WRT to my view of Doomcock. Dunno why I'm still subscribed to the guy, beyond some sort of internalized masochism. Meaning I can only take him in very limited doses. The minute and a half I watched was sperging about SJWs or something like that. FWIW, he seems to stream most Fridays. The hashtag #FridayNightFrolics on Twitter pops up quite a bit, going back years now, though mostly from fans. (I THINK he used to wait until FNT was done to start, but now apparently doesn't care.)
Then again, Gina Carano has never tweeted at me.
I don't see why that's an incorrect observation. He's never claimed to be bigger than FNT, just (my take) than FNTs content is getting a bit stale and they continue to squawk about the current state of Hollywood as they continue to hypocritcally consoome product. Both positions seem reasonable to me.

I just found I'm unsubscribed from him, which is odd because I don't remember unsubbing from him, I almost never unsub. I'm still subbed to Preston and Liam. And Thomas Roiloup (who is still going on about ChrisChan comics). And even @NasserRabadi13!
But yeah I'm not saying I want to watch Doomcock every week, it was more like a nostalgic pang since I haven't watched one of his streams in a good while.
I might be out of touch somewhat since I've never watched an FNT in my life, I don't think, but I vaguely remembered FNT vs CG as being more even, like high 2Ks vs low 2Ks. But it all makes sense now, Tucci brought it up because he must have been concerned about it impinging on the hocking of his Shi book. Then Frog said they're doing well because getting viciously bummed by them in the ratings is a regular thing for him. But if @FROG's happy then I'm happy for him!

Gary reached far. He brought in Jeremy to help grift the FM and Snyderbronies, Garrett to peel some Crowder fags, he drove hard for Gators, and networked his druggie ass off.

FNT has been pretty big for a while, only behind EFAP in this corner of the net, especially since Gary has started to bring on guests, but most people tune in for Gary and the guest. Comix Division and Odin rarely say a word and Ryan Kinel is probably doped up on all the ketamine they can get their hands on since the guy has a pretty outspoken personality but that's generally a nono on the big show. Not sure what numbers Az do on his solo shows, on the Bagging and Boarding Show with Gary they get thousands of viewers, but then again Gary is there.

Not for like the past two years. This shouldn't be too big a surprise given that Nerdrotic's content (along with 'Anti-SJW' pop culture youtubers in general, of whom Nerdrotic is the king) is complaining about whatever mass pop culture is trending and causes carefully selected for maximum outreach potential whereas, outside of a foray into Star Wars, Frog's platform is based largely about the shrinking, niche world of mainstream Western comics.

Yeah but Frog's foray into Star Wars is arguably the origin of all of this. The 'pop-culture war'. Shouldn't Frog be the king of anti-SJW pop culture Youtubers?
I mean he:
- started The High Council;
- was a driving force in the boycott/mockery of Solo/Soylo, which subsequently bombed and to this day is the biggest culture war victory the little people of Star Wars ever had;
- ripped the guts out of young ComicsGate and wore it like Ed Gein wearing one of his dearly-departed relatives;
- turned ComicsGate into a carnival of hilarious freaks and ongoing clown show;
- spawned tons of imitators and wannabes coming into both CG and TFM;
- fought against the slander campaigns from the mainstream press and shitty blogs (for example his regular clowning of Forbes' TLJ shill Scott Mendelson)
- made a fuss about the Snyder Cuck incident and tried to kick the new pseudo-culture warrior Tube Potatoes into shape;
There's probably more too, that's just off the top of my head.
But when I think about what Nerdrotic has done, it's literally:

Not if you don't keep at it on a frequent steady pace. EVS went to do his CG stuff and doing long streams while Gary and Co. went off to do shorter, more frequent videos churned out on a regular basis before they all took the stream-pill. At the end of the day Gary is the better YouTuber (not necessarily qualitywise but growth and engagementwise) since while EVS just wants a platform to promote comics Gary actively targets the algorthim and even restarts streams with several thousand people watching if the show doesn't show up on people's feed (I know because I was sitting on a few of these streams). Not to mention Gary sells cope, which a lot a people in the pop-culture sphere want nowadays, and he's a steady supplier.

Not to me! Nerdrotic is like the Oasis to Frog's Stone Roses - he may be more commercial/popular, but to me Frog is the original and best.
