  • Warcampaign is going through its annual schism between Gat and whoever's left in there like CDK@GDD, Blacc Daddy, PC's Twin and probably some other guys like Sasucule and Mikey Woodz. While there's no formal casus belli has been issued from either side of this spedfight, it appears to be the usual Ro/Pan/Gat troika avoiding and keeping out the lower ranked members, while the "those guys are just our fan club and not actually WC" explanation for plausible deniability purposes is becoming too close to reality for the WC rank and file's liking.

  • Well Read finally went from platforming Oz show antics like Berserk Guts vs Ryzie to managing to land Frog, Dan Fraga and Jon Malin on his channel at once to reminisce over being struggling young artists in the 90s. In response to this unexpected boon of Comicsgate spotlight, Well Read's show immediately imploded with both of his cohosts, Moonshine and Smug Pug either choosing to leave or Well Read opting to cancel it (stories differ). There was a follow-up review of Roadwarrior Drake by Alazmat with guest reviewers, who gave the work it 8/10 (CiderHype), 1/10 (Twitless) and "I couldn't get past page 12 but Alazmat is a good guy and people should buy it"/10 (Wiggle Wiggle).

It seems he's been popular enough with the FNT crew to be invited onto the Mario Kart streams, which seems to be where outsiders are tested for brand loyalty and "chemisty" with the in crowd. Also to avoid having to take the "Gamer" out of the "Geeks and Gamers" brand. Noticeably absent from these streams are losers like Milestone and Jeff Hicks, notably present is Eric July.

I think FNT probably has another year of high relevancy and growth in store for them. Almost every popular podcast type thing eventually collapses though. It's turned more into an entertainment variety hour. Discussions on specific topics are becoming more short and have become more of a general recap than any meaningful discussion on it. If their audience stays as committed as the EFAP audience they should be fine though.

At some point they need to get more of the audience involved in donations. Just reading George superchats and the other handful of whales gets old. The entire superchat section is just a public felating session that does not push conversation in any meaningful direction at all. I couldn't care less if George sucks Gary's cock for the 800th time for $200. I would like to see the audience actually engage in a conversation at all.
 
The latest example of overt propaganda in mainstream comic books comes from a New York Times article [archive] in which it is reported that limited edition coof comics will be given to incentivize young people to get vaccinated.

If the jab doesn't kill them, perhaps the writing of this "limited edition" Avengers comic will. Memology 101 spinoff channel, Memology 102, shows the immense amount of cringe as the initiative was announced at a press conference by New York Mayor Bill de Blaiso.


Perhaps someone should point out to de Blaiso if he really wants to incentivize children to get vaccinated, perhaps they should offer manga or the latest Playstation and not propaganda pamphlets from a rapidly dying industry.
 
Well, Liam is dying. I started it late but watched the first couple mins and he's been diagnosed with something so he decided to livestream his life story for his new daughter since he "might not be around for very long." Good grief.

Maybe. People like being upset at popular culture, and giving them a place to share that is important to them. I don't think there's anything else going on with FNT and there's certainly no product coming out of it.

It's hard to believe this is some kind of special arrangement. Since it feels like most offerings don't even try to hide their sociopolitical ambitions at this point. Im honestly surprised most comics don't have their characters wearing Covid masks at this point.

Did you guys see Zack's latest lovebombing run on Narwhal, entitled "FIRST AMONG EQUALS- Some Stories & Characters Just Mean MORE To The Creators Than Their Other Books":


The video is full of choice quotes that I can't be bothered to transcribe, but in short it seems quite clear from this video that Zack loves Narwhal, and wants to marry him. And also that 499 is 'true art' unlike the presumably false/inferior art of good/great stories.

There's many statements he makes where you can change 'book' for 'baby' and it all makes total sense. They have a baby now! Baby Narzack.

But is Zack coming on too strong? I mean Narwhal does have other collaborators... as well as his solo efforts, which were, I would say, better received than 499.

Putting myself in Narwhal's pungent shoes, I could see him being a little freaked out by this video quite frankly.

I just saw the stream he did where he claims to be dying soon.

FACT: Liam Gray said the same exact think 2 years ago due to a "BRAIN TEAR" .

He is doing anything to get people to sympathize for him, which would lead to sympathy buys of Wonder Island aka BOY ISLAND

Zach seems to be his own publisher/creator. I don't see where he "needs" the approval of one artist. He always seems to view the comic industry through the lenses of "Art", "Entertainment", and "Business". That's why his takes against SJWs have always focused on how SJW comic books fail in those three areas.

If you did not know, Liam Gray has been on his death bed since 2018 with a "BRAIN TEAR". He literally gave the same speech to multiple people.
That term does not exist in the medical dictionary.
