Yeah, the thing about being an adult who has a full time job and bills to pay is that you probably don't have enough free time to sit around "triggering" 14 year olds, because working 30-40 hours a week is enough to not make you wanna squander your precious life doing petty shit like that. I know I can't think of a worse way to spend my day off than patrolling the feminism/communism/sjw tags on Tumblr and starting a slapfight with someone almost half my age.

People keep throwing Ashley's "journalism" around, but do we even have examples of that? I haven't seen anything aside from what's been quoted from her WordPress.

She seems pretty tame to me, like a Lauren Southern crossed with a typical /pol/ poster. But then again spending significant time on the chans does desensitise you. Maybe people who frequent Tumblr are more sensitive to this type of stuff.

She's extremely notorious on tumblr; almost all of her content on the blog right now is reacting to a mention or replying to an ask. She gives them just enough content to keep going.

But unlike someone like Porky, CK is genuinely saying stupid as hell shit and repeatedly poking the hornets nest on purpose, just to turn around and be like "look at all these meanie feminists!"

This is a girl who wrote a racist limerick about Mike Brown at the height of his coverage and then acted shocked when the notoriously sensible and well adjusted Tumblr crowd reacted as they do to racism.

Saying shocking things occasionally to rile up dumb kids on Tumblr can be funny. But making a lifestyle out of it is really sad. Coupling that type of lifestyle with an incessant need to inject your stodgy political beliefs and ridiculously out of touch commentary everywhere you go is just asking for problems. Even though Ashley is a young adult, she behaves like Bill O'Reilly. She wants to dish out as much "tough love" to 14 year olds on Tumblr as possible, but as soon as those same kids use their heads and get back at her, she resorts to crying foul play the same exact way they do.

She's not going to goatse herself on camera, change genders, or fuck her cat, but she's cowish in that she constantly draws attention to herself for all the wrong reasons, she's a Jew who dated a Nazi, and she chimps out over dumb shit regularly.

And for what it's worth, I don't think she's completely terrible looking, but she has a pretty smarmy look about her in all of her pics.

If her infamy really and truly bothered her on a personal level, she would nuke her blog. Simple as that. It's very easy to leave tumblr, especially considering she doesn't really have any positive interactions on the site in the first place. It's obvious that she doesn't stay out of trying to change people's minds to her "unpopular opinions" or trying to redeem herself or anything, she just likes the negative attention.

At this point her blog is basically entirely her making weak attempts at defending herself. It's kinda sad.
