Community created the worst lefties!

I just started watching community I'm midway through season 2 and despite it's flaws.

annie still has some Huge Yum Yum Knockers

The dean was honestly my most hated character. The show seemed to go out of its way to portray catering to his man-child tendencies as the right thing to do, as if Jeff was wrong for refusing to put up with his shit.

It weirdly did, which I don't understand. With Ron Swanson being his best libertarian self and government being portrayed as an inefficient circus, its hard to see how the psycho lefties latched onto it so strongly.
He ends up raising another man's children.

“Community” and “Parks and Recreation” managed to make me realize that Donald Glover and Aziz Ansari we’re only funny to people that tried a little bit too hard to be funny in a “Look at me, I’m so different! I’m not like other guys!” approach.

I think it was the over excess of fame that they received started to get to their heads a bit. Though, it’s always funny how Danny Pudi managed to be a voice actor on a Duck Tales reboot.

Honestly what's funny about Parks and Reactions. Is that the show had very liberal character and liberal premise. Yet the actor who has reach a-list fame form that show (you know who) may not be a liberal. Is funny to me for some reason. Also the most popular character of that show is Ron Swanson the right wing libertarian. The irony is truly amazing.

I still don't know why Nick Offerman learn noting form his character and is a big leftie. Like did he not listen to anything his character said?

I dunno, I feel like the show always portrayed Lindsey as being annoying and overbearing in her “activism”.

That's more common than you think.
Here in Brazil, a notable example would be Captain Nascimento, the main character from the Elite Squad dualogy, a hard-ass elite cop who openly hates criminals and leftists. He was played by Wagner Moura, who's self-professedly a borderline communist, and both he and the films' director were keen on making Nascimento as much of an odious asshole as possible, to create a climate of "cops aren't any better than the criminals they fight against". Turns out the public fucking loved Nascimento's characterization, as well as he and the boys from BOPE brutalizing the criminals they fought against, and the two Elite Squad movies are the most-viewed and most lucrative national movies ever because of it. We even quote his best lines from the movies to this day.

It's a strange phenomenon when creators put righty caricatures in certain works to make fun of/piss on them, only to see them soar in popularity. See also: Archie Bunker, Rorschach and Dwight Schrute, and a few others I may be missing over the years.

Community created the worst TV. I always felt that all the humor there was very forced, but of because of success many sitcoms started imitating its style and none of them were particularly funny either.
Arrested Development was the last based and funny American comedy ever made.

I think its because that at the end of the day, these people will do whatever they want with damning the consequences and what people think of them.
