The way you should read it is that he was convicted of lying to a lot of people, but he didn't lie to a detective about the specific thing the count alleges. I'm guessing he either didn't make that particular lie to the detective, or the jury decided it was already covered by his multiple other counts of lying to police officers.
Paying a Nigerian to commit battery on you doesn't make the fact a battery took place false.
Explanation for frens who may use the farms too much-The jury was autistic as fuck.

He was on his way out and desperate. Doesn't make him any less fucking stupid. He should have pitched the plot for the show he was on, but they were firing him anyway.
I would pay to see an adaptation of the hoax in progress. Complete with the Nigerians stumbling over their lines as they awkwardly drape the nylon rope on his shoulders.

"This is... uh... MAGA country?"

He denied the hoax the entire time during the trial but was still found guilty, is this not perjury?
Pretty sure the defendant can't be charged with perjury.
That's kind of the point of being a defendant rather than just taking a plea deal.

Edit: since I can't remember how to add a quote, rather than being autistic the jury were probably being justifiably prescice out of fear for starting yet another fucking race riot if the NLM twats got offended.

No. Perjury is rarely prosecuted regardless, but I'd bet there's some rule about prosecuting a defendant for perjury after they've been convicted of another crime. Accused rights and all that shit.

Having a community means you're literally Stalin, please do not organize anything ever.
Community sucks, heh-heh. It, like, puts spooky ghosts in your head. Like that you will never score if you don't adhere to its made-up standarts.

You only have the right to remain silent. Once you’re sworn in and started talking, you must tell the truth.

Absolutely massive 0-day exploit in Java log4j 2 that affects large swaths of the Internet and allows near-brainlet simple remote code execution found (literally in Minecraft).
Dunno if Minecraft has patched this yet but if you play Minecraft or any other Java based application that connects to the Internet add this JVM argument, it should prevent the exploit on your machine.
