He's been deleting and blocking users who are commenting on his videos about it. Had a bit of a meltdown on Twitter before he privated. (wish I screencapped but was so shocked alone by what he had said. Anybody capture it?)

This document has been around since roughly 2017. I've forgotten some pieces of the story myself, but here's what I remember.
It was written by some Newgrounds autist named AwesomeAarons who wanted to fuck Clarissa but kept getting rejected by her for James.
There's a lot that's been deleted/is behind the scenes but there a few examples of him being obsessive over Clarissa (and James),
like him publicly telling her he wishes he could move to Burbank (where she lives)
and posting things about her graduation date
making pic collages of each individual fucking animation frame james drew of her:

Other people involved with the NG community while this was going on were unnerved by how creepy this dude was and asked him to stop.
James, being a mentally ill dumbass, very freely admitted to what he did with his sister whenever asked about it, but somehow it kept passing under the radar from people on Youtube. He suicide baited for ages on his Twitter D00dlejam before locking it and changing the name to "soon to be dead".

There's a shitload of contradictory statements from this guy where he waffles on whether or not James is a rapist or isn't, and it was consensual or it wasn't, and if he had broken their "promise" or hadn't.
Screencapping that nonsensical shit in a comprehensible manner is fucking beyond me at the moment.
James unlocked his twitter after like 3 years to post this "explanation" of the situation.
but people aren't buying it because there's nothing you can really do to un-rape your 13 year old sister. I wouldn't be surprised if he an heros or threatens to an hero after this again.
tl;dr -- James Bear molested his sister, ran his fucking mouth about it, it caught wind of some unhinged sperg who was stalking his girlfriend, said unhinged sperg make a 182 page google document about the situation that was also diluted with mostly dumb bullshit to get Clarissa to break up with him.

There's so many fucking layers of autism on this one.
Aaron's insane stalking almost makes you feel bad for James... Then you remember James still says that his 9 year old sister "consented" to him raping her and the feeling is replaced with disgust.
Is there any reason why he replaced the spoken dialogue in his animations with Animal Crossing type gibberish in the new cartoon?

Clarissa still stuck around with him up until his most recent 3 cartoons, for all 5 years since the google doc dropped. Her last voiced role was Valentines Day 2022, so maybe James' "I'm sick" excuse is true.
This is the first time James' allegations have truly hit the mainstream. Claire stayed with him for five years after him fucking his 9 year old sister became public knowledge (somewhat), who knows if she'll stay with him now that even people off of Twitter know what he's done.

I really can't put my finger on it, but there's something about internet animators I inherently dislike and I don't know what that is. There's always something off about them, doesn't matter what they do. So when this kind of stuff happen, I always have this lack of being surprised in any capacity.

Claire and James was always dumb generic post 2013 Newgrounds mobface coomerbait with an intense focus on Clarissa's massive tits rather than any real substance. Most if not all internet animators nowadays basically draw softcore hentai to attract views (the only exception are those kiddy storytime animators).
There was this one unfunny Yugioh animation that I couldn't get out of my fucking recommended (before Youtube finally added the option to remove videos) that had a thumbnail focused on the love interest's tits and had to be censored to be uploaded on Youtube because you just need to have unnecessary badly drawn sex shit in your comedy parody cartoon.
There's another one who does japanese sakuga style animations but the "punchline" to his animations is usually "le anime boob bounce". It's what pays the bills, but I'll be damned if it isn't annoying.
