Welp, turns out that post was true. The banwave has begun. Notable anti-censorship subreddits such as r/consumeproduct (which had over 60,000 members at the time of the ban) are permanently removed from the site, although the largest one, r/watchredditdie, is still up.
Reddit has, almost officially, died. Praise the fallen, hail the past.

Banning r/ConsumeProduct is even faggier than the faggiest shit they could've done. But I guess it doesn't benefit a big online corp like Reddit to keep around a board dedicated to spreading the fact that maybe people shouldn't be obsessed with consuming popular media and worshiping corporations.
