Might not be the most dramatic of happenings, but we've got a Fantasy Football league going for Farmers. We're close to filling up one 10 team league, and if the demand is there I will run a second division.

I haven't kept up with a lot of Ralph stuff so maybe I'm wrong and the only monetization he has is his website, but wouldn't he have other income streams than this? Doesn't he still stream to odysee or one of those other alternative sites, and they have some form of donation system built in too? streamlabs or a comparative service?

No matter how you slice it, he's barely making minimum wage. He does sell T-shirts and merch, and has a tip jar, but about that's it. Even if we used some generous estimates, he doesn't have enough viewers to realistically be making a lot from merch sales on top of the stream, even if it was several hundred dollars a month.
The monetization on Odysee is pretty bad right now, so Ethan is trying to only stream to this paid service to force monetization on his garbage podcast that way.
Also he's having a second baby, and he makes his pregnant girlfriend work a wagie job to support herself work a job since he's poor. I don't know if he's paying child support for the first kid yet. If the IRS audits him he's really fucked.

I would not be at all surprised if most merch gets single digit purchases, you're right that his audience just isn't large enough. I think people might be surprised about donations/tips w/e though. A lot of rich, or at least dumb with their money, spergs who donate stupid sums to streamers. Hell he got a nice nest egg from that one european wignat who donated to a bunch of bitcoin to alt right creators right before he euthanised himself, for example.

It's an issue of centralization. There are reddit alternatives, but no one uses them. You can't talk about politics on reddit but the subreddits for hobbies and video games and anime still function even if you have to tip-toe around the sensibilities of neoliberal/progressive fanatics. Until the website is completely and totally taken over and even the most basic discussion is impossible without engaging in endless performative lefty rituals (misgendering anyone for any reason is instantly bannable, anything remotely racist/sexist/homophobic is an instant permanent ban from the entire website, etc.) it's probably not going anywhere and no alternative will ever gain a real foothold. Twitter is fucking horrible for reasons that don't have anything to do with the overt, craven censorship they engage in and it's still the biggest social media site everyone uses.
