Jake Doolittle, a breadtuber who got some infamy earlier this year for accusing Ethan Klein (H3H3) of faking an illness for money, is once again in the internet's crosshairs for making a video calling out and threatening videos on people who won't donate to his dumb charity. He deleted the video right away and later went live from the hospital to try and guilt trip others into not covering the drama.

Prominent fighting game community Youtuber Rooflemonger has had his 235k sub channel hacked and thoroughly buck broken by what seems to be a group of crypto hackers. After the hackers deleted many of his videos and briefly started up a stream on his channel the whole thing was taken down and his entire channel was terminated. He is now screaming into the void on X for Youtube's help.RipHisChannel.jpg

In 2006, a scandal rocked the United States academic world as Crystal Magnum, a then-erotic dancer who was hired by Duke University's Lacrosse team, accused three team members of raping her. This entire case was a massive shitshow that resulted in the team being disgraced, the three members having their lives ruined, and the lead prosecutor disbarred and forced to serve time. In the end, the case and accusations went nowhere, and it just became an example of failed due justice as a result of media bias, racism, and sexism.

Except Crystal Magnum has now admitted that the entire accusation was completely fabricated.

18 years after the scandal, Magnum, who is now serving time in prison for an unrelated count of second-degree murder in 2013, has admitted that she made the entire thing up, and has asked for forgiveness from the three men.

Bluesky is seemingly refusing to ban Jesse Singal from the site. For those that don't know, he's a journalist that has written articles for various newspapers including The New York Times and The Atlantic, and runs a podcast called Blocked and reported. Despite being a massive lib, because he has written articles that cast doubt on the safety of puberty blockers etc. he has become a target for trans activists.

Bluesky's safety team released a statement that proclaims among other things:

We do not currently take action on accounts that share Bluesky screenshots with commentary, unless that commentary violates our Guidelines. We will take action when someone's private information is shared without their consent, but only when it is personally identifiable and verifiable in-app.

Moderation decisions draw intense public scrutiny from many places. That’s why Bluesky's architecture is designed to enable communities to control their online spaces, independent of the company or its leadership. We will continue to work on empowering people with more control over their experience.

This is on the heels of a site-wide campaign by trans activists including Alejandra Caraballo attempting to get him banned under vague 'harassement' allegations, which included posting about BlueSky from his twitter profile and then providing commentary on it (which they saw as harassment).

To the surprise of no one, there is currently a massive melt-down happening in the replies:
