A few weeks ago, Logan Paul and his associates were exposed for scamming people that bought into an NFT "game" they were developing last year. I suggest watching Coffeezilla's (Stephen's) 3 part video series with all the details, but for a rundown of what was covered:
  • About a year ago, Logan and co announce some upcoming game called "CryptoZoo" where you buy zoo token (the currency) and eggs, hatch the eggs, combine the hatched animals with other random animals for more value, and eventually attempt to profit by passively earning income (based on the animal's rarity) or "burn" the animal to either obtain more eggs or simply cash out.
  • The project eventually goes live for people to start buying the tokens and the eggs before the game itself has even launched (sort of like preordering).
  • Logan claims that they spent $1 million on talented artists and devs to create this game he's really passionate about. Eventually the "art" for the game starts getting teased, and it's just stock photos photoshopped together.

  • Time passes with Zoo Token losing value and the actual game itself not properly functioning. People have bought NFT eggs that were supposed to hatch, yet essentially do nothing at all. They continue to wait for some kind of update, yet Logan and co remain pretty silent.
  • Logan later claims that he wasn't responsible for the project failing as a project dev allegedly stole the code for the project, fled to Switzerland, and held the code for ransom. The dev claimed that they wouldn't provide the code until the team was properly paid for the work they did on the project.
  • The devs blame some guy named "Eddie Ibanez" for withholding the payments + being the reason the project failed entirely.
    • Eddie grew up as an orphan, went to MIT and graduated as a data scientist, helped the Eagles win the superbowl, and even had ties to the federal government doing cyber security work. When a reporter fact checked this info, turned out all of it (including his mother passing away) was a total lie.
  • Despite Eddie eventually being kicked off the team, a new dev team was brought in to try to fix the failing project and ended up quitting after they also weren't being paid for their work on time.
  • Another guy who was one of the early investors and advisors on the project, "Jake the Crypto King", pinned a lot of the blame on both Eddie and Logan and claimed that he too was a victim of being scammed. This however ran contrary to the fact that he put around $200k into initially, sold a lot of eggs and tokens he was holding onto, and supposedly profited anywhere from $3-6 million from this failed project.
  • Stephen concludes that no single person was to blame for the failure of CryptoZoo, but rather, the devs were simply never paid on time for their work on this supposed game being made.
In short, Logan Paul had hyped up a game that he had people invest in, only for said game to never come out due to the devs being paid late for their work. Logan himself pinned the blame on one malicious dev, yet remained silent on fixing the game to get it working or to refund the people who initially invested into the project. Despite Stephen's several failed attempts over the past year to try and get into contact with Logan (including a bizarre call with Logan's manager where he gave vague non-answers and made hollow legal threats), Logan insists that Stephen never reached out to him to give his side of the story.

Logan has since put out a new response video today, which has not been received well by most viewers. I'm still catching up on the details, but what's worth noting:
  • Both Logan and Stephen have tried to invite each other onto their own respective shows in order to explain the whole story. The laughable part is that Logan says in his video he plans on suing Stephen, yet wonders why Stephen wouldn't accept his invite onto his Impaulsive podcast.
  • Logan returned to the CryptoZoo discord server he previously abandoned. While many users are rightfully pissed at him, a few are apparently delusional enough to reinvest money in the hopes that the game eventually comes out. The sunk cost fallacy is real amongst a few of these poor bastards.
  • Logan tries to poke holes in Stephen's videos by pointing out that the people being cited were unreliable sources:
    • One of the victims Stephen interviewed was apparently an NFT rugpuller who ran two separate crypto project scams. This still fails to acknowledge all of the other victims who put money into the project and got nothing in return.
    • The anonymous developer was apparently an ex-convict that's been previously arrested for multiple felonies, including armed robbery. Even though this totally makes Logan appear incompetent to have hired someone like that for the project, he tries to once more pass the blame fully onto Eddie for hiring the guy.
  • By the end of the video Logan has the audacity to tease CryptoZoo's release being in 2023/2024.

For our international frens, the US House of Represenatives is at a stand still. The GOP barely won the most seats there in November. Rep. Kevin McCarthy from California was nominated for Speaker of the House. He needs half the house to vote for him to win. Its gone up to vote Over 9 Times since Tuesday. He wasn't won yet. This is pretty massive as this hasn't happened since the 1920s.
Starts Here:

He moved all his shit into the Speaker's office on Tuesday night and still hasn't removed it. Implying he thinks this vote should have been a formality.

There's a group of 20 MAGA aligned Reps in the house that have been keeping Kevin from winning. Rep. Lauren Boebert from Colorado is one of them and got into a shouting match with Fox News host Sean Hannity last night.

Edit:
Trump is in support of McCarthy. There was a fake press release that someone made of Trump dismissing McCarthy yesterday but he said it was fake.

Oopsie doodles…

Esteemed writer Owen A. Forrems has published his newest book “A Christmas Carnage” on Amazon for $0.99.

A certain fat-titted faggot from Wisconsin is not happy about this as he’s been squealing about his adult fiction sequel to “A Christmas Carol” for nearly two years.

Limited Run Games, the company most notable for generating revenue from their customers through Extreme FOMO and nostalgia while taking months to over a year to ship products, have fired an employee in record time for the unforgivable crime of saying perverts using women's bathrooms outnumber troons using women's bathrooms...in 2016. Also for following the likes of LibsofTikTok and Blaire White on Twitter.

This was spurred on by none other than Purple Tinker - founder of Bronycon and BABScon, and loathed by bronies for his drama bullshit. When even bronies hate you, you know you have someone special on your hands.

Over the past few weeks, Ethan Ralph has been feuding with Harry Morris - the father of Ralph's fiancée, Amanda Morris.
  • It was likely brewing for a long time, but the final breaking point seems to have been a private argument between Ralph and Alanna Morris (Amanda's sister) after Ralph fled to Mexico. Either Harry or Alanna then made a KF account to dox Ralph's Mexican address, which made the ragepig really start to holler. They're now blood enemies, and Ralph has sworn to never let Harry see his daughter or granddaughter ever again.
  • Things have only escalated since then. Ralph left a lot of his stuff at Harry's house for safekeeping, including merchandise he was planning to sell at his upcoming Ralphamania Wrestling event. Harry either unintentionally lost or deliberately destroyed the Ralphamania championship belt, which was apparently a major initial cause of all this drama. But now that they're blood enemies, Harry is currently selling off all the other merchandise to a-logs as well!
    • The IRL Wrestling event is on January 14th, btw, and it looks like it's going to be a real disaster & full of drama. Ralph's planning on marrying his horsebride in the wrestling ring, too! Should be an entertaining trainwreck.

  • There's been a lot of back-and-forth fighting, text dumps, etc that I haven't gone over. Check out the feud thread and the Ralph subforum in general for some of the greatest white trash drama you could ever imagine!
  • Most recently (today), Harry's been bragging about how much of the merchandise he's sold, and Ralph is swearing to sue. More swearing of vengeance (and funny texts) here and here.
