A fucking weird story has been posted in A&H about a Texas mother allegedly keeping her 25-year old son as a ‘sex slave’ after claiming he went missing 8 years ago (clearnet link)

The story is filled with tons of weird details, such as:

-the allegedly abused man revealing all this to a “local New Black Panther leader and community activist Quanell X.” (Who has this quote about the situation):

-the woman’s family apparently knowing for those 8 years that her son wasn’t missing.

-the son’s father, who was a police officer facing an internal affairs investigation, killing himself a year before the son allegedly went missing.

(Keep in mind that she has not been charged so far, and that with how nutty this story is, it’s not out of the question that her son isn’t telling the full truth either, so it’s probably best to reserve judgment for the time being)

A movie about Child Trafficking that Disney refused to release for half a decade, following the purchase of 20th century Fox, has just defeated the Disney summer tent pole "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" on its release date of July 4th. The distribution rights were bought by the Christian Media organization "Angel Media" , and was released for limited distribution in North America on less then half the screens Indiana Jones was released on.

Sound of Freedom is now sitting at No. 1 in the US Box Office.

Polissa and Josh Campbell's marriage is collapsing. Josh has been trying to fix the plumbing in the ruined trailer Polly insisted on moving in to (which still doesn't have running water or AC several months in), as well as job hunting and doing all the housework. What has Pissa been doing to contribute, you may ask? She has been kvetching on Facebook that her family didn't throw her a 40th birthday party and went to the beach without her instead, and haven't thrown her the "make up party" she wanted. She has also complained that Joh doesn't want to go to therapy for his anger issues because clearly he's irrational for being pissed off at her.
