Interestingly, the Australian government's Bureau of Statistics released data earlier this week showing that migration (largely from China/India/etc) is higher than ever. Currently, one in three Australian residents were born overseas.

Today, the German domestic intelligence agency (Verfassungsschutz) officially classified the entirety of AfD (Alternative for Germany) as a "confirmed right-wing extremist organization".
This decision allows the Verfassungsschutz to intensify surveillance measures against the AfD, including deploying informants, intercepting communications, and monitoring financial activities.
While this is not directly a ban, it paves the way for potential legal actions to prohibit the party, a move that would eliminate its access to state funding.

As of right now, the AfD is actually the single strongest party in the polls, having overtaken the CDU.

In England, the Football Association (the country’s governing body for soccer) has announced that trans women will no longer be allowed to play on women’s teams effective June 1st, 2025. The governing bodies for cricket and netball have also announced similar bans.
